They were using a private jet,
so check in process wasn't at all needed.
In less than an hour,
they were already in the air,
heading to the country where he once upon a time called home.

...what do you want...

An hour had passed, and they were already on the road in Korea, driving towards the Jung's estate

Yoongi could feel the strong tension oozing out of the omega as they drove closer to their destination.

The familiar buildings and constructions they passed by still wasn't helping. A lot had changed in the passed six years and Hoseok couldn't help but wander if any of his school mates would even recognise him. It's not like he was well known in school, although They did know he was the son of a millionaire. Neither did he have many friends, his step mother prohibited him from socialising with people.

He wondered how different or normal his life would have been if he wasn't Hoseok, if he wasn't a JADE. If his bloodline wasn't considered as something rare, if his whole existence wasn't seen as just an asset to pocess, if he wasn't him in general.

As they neared the Jung estate, the air inside the car grew thick with tension. Hoseok stared out the window, his fingers gripping his seatbelt tightly, his mind racing with memories of the place he once called home. It wasn't a home, though—it was a prison, a constant reminder of how little he meant to the people who were supposed to love him.

Hoseok flinched, feeling a light grip on his thigh. "You can choose to withdraw if you want to." Yoongi's low voice rumbled, the car coming to a slow stop at a safe distance from the estate before them, hidden in the cover of trees."You don't have to face him."

Hoseok signed, shaking his head, "I need to." He muttered, taking off his seat belt. "Don't worry, I'll be fine."

Yoongi signed, stepping out first, his gaze surveying their surroundings. The estate was heavily guarded, but with the help of Jimin, Yoongi had spent the entire week studying the layout. They would need to move silently, taking out anyone in their way without raising an alarm.

Hoseok on the other hand was very familiar with every nooks and cranies of the mansion, so they both had no problem maneuvering their way to their target without raising any alarm.

Once inside, they slinked through the shadows, Yoongi leading the way. The guards patrolling the grounds were few but armed, each of them alert. Yoongi took the first one down with swift precision—a knife to the throat, the man's body slumping to the ground without a sound. Hoseok felt a surge of adrenaline as they moved forward, his own steps growing lighter, more determined.

Two more guards fell before they reached the inner courtyard, where the lights of the mansion glowed in the distance.

They slipped into the mansion through a side entrance, the soft hum of security cameras above them. Yoongi had memorised their blind spots, moving swiftly between them until they reached the lower levels of the house. The air was colder here, and the walls seemed to close in as they descended into the darkness of the basement where Mirae and his wife were waiting—completely unaware of the storm about to fall on them.

Two more guards stood outside the door to the private room, but they never saw Yoongi coming. He dispatched them swiftly, their bodies crumpling to the floor with barely a whisper of sound.

"Ready?" Yoongi whispered, glancing at Hoseok.

Hoseok nodded, though his heart raced. The time had come.

Yoongi kicked open the door, and the sight that greeted them was almost anticlimactic. Jung Mirae sat behind a desk, his stepmother lounging in a chair nearby, both of them clearly startled by the intrusion. Mirae's eyes darkened as they settled on Hoseok.

He looked very much young and handsome, striking similarities with Hoseok himself just the way everyone knew him to be. The only changes Hoseok could take note of was the tiny white strands peaking beneath his hair.

"Oh wow!" The man breathed out, seeming unphased by their sudden intrusion. "What a great way to reunite after so long. Welcome back home, son." The man grinned, leaning into his chair.

Hoseok's brow raised. "Welcome? Reunite? No I came to tell you goodbye." He said so casually and emotionless, complete contrast to the war going on inside him.

He was anxious, Yoongi could tell. He stepped forward, his huge frame covering the omega from the vicious man's gaze

Mirae's grin faltered, seeing the devious expression of the younger alpha in front of him. "What an honor to be visited by the Don of the Mins." He spoke with a lighter tone, internally afraid of what wrath the younger alpha had with him.

Yoongi's expression remained stoic, until he brought out his gun, aiming two bullet at the door.

A feminine shriek was heard close to where Yoongi had just fired. "Don't you dare move an inch from this room." He warned, motioning to the woman by the door to return to her seat, his gun still pointed at her.

Mirae became tensed realizing they were trapped. "You know..." he tried speaking with a firm tone. "You can't do anything to me. I'm a well known billionaire here in Korea."

Yoongi sneakered, taking gentle strides towards the couple now seated side by side. "Maybe exposing all your illegal activities to the public will change their perspectives of who you truly are." He said, flashing a brown envelope In the air. "This... contains all the information I need about you.

Mirae's jaw clenched, hard gaze on the young alpha. "What do you want." He spoke through gritted teeth.

Yoongi smiled, tossing the envelope on the table close to him. Turning to Hoseok who had been quiet all this while, he motioned to the omega to come forward.

"What's your connection with Jay?" It was Hoseok that spoke this time, his unreadable expression still on.

Both older couples eyes went wide, exchanging glances with each other.

The clicking sound of Yoongi's gun echoed, gaining their attention. "You're not gonna talk?" He asked, pointing his gun at the woman's feet, hard gaze fixed to Mirae's.

"What exactly do you want to kn.."

Yoongi fired a bullet at the woman's feet, earning a painful cry. "Don't waste our time."
