CHAPTER 21: JADE

Jungkook gave a little smile,
rising up. "At least you're here now,
you should go meet him before he comes out

Yoongi stood by the transparent wall in his office, arms crossed over his chest, gaze stuck outside, watching the busy night street in the city. Police sirens could be heard from a far distance, probably approaching the casino pub sitting opposite his complex, the same pub they'd gone into and caused a lot of commotion in.

Their mission was successful... well not entirely successful, they hadn't blown up the place yet, they couldn't because Hoseok was presumed to still be in the building.

Yoongi was mad worried. He was sure Hoseok wouldn't try running away again, at least for now. He knew the omega had a plan, but running away was certainly not the plan. What caused his worry was Jackson. Jackson wasn't a person omegas, both claimed and unclaimed would love to be left alone with. Although he knew Hoseok would be able to set him in his boundaries, but Jackson was still Jackson, he's really unpredictable when he's among omega's, especially to the fact that Hoseok was unmarked.

His door opened, snapping Yoongi out of his thought, turning around, he was met with a grinning Jungkook, and behind him... was... Hoseok!!

Yoongi's heart lept with an unspoken joy as soon as he sighted the tired looking omega. He was happy, yes, but his expression said otherwise.

"What?" His voice snapped at Jungkook who wouldn't stop giving that annoying grin. He was still mad at the younger alpha for leaving Hoseok alone.

"Here's your Hoseok." Jungkook spoke, stepping aside to reveal an uninterested Hoseok. "Told you he'll be fine on his own."

Yoongi's eyes lingered on Hoseok for a few seconds before snapping back to Jungkook. "Alright you can leave now."

Giving a humorous salute, the alpha left the room, leaving Hoseok alone with Yoongi.

"Great job cupcake." Yoongi stated blankly, resuming back to staring into the city.

Hoseok Raised a brow, gaze meeting the alpha's back. "Just that?"

Yoongi shrugged, turning around to face the omega, arms crossed over his chest. "Yeah?.. what else?"

"I need a Goddamn reward!" Hoseok stated blatantly, his tone snappy. "You don't know how risky it was to stay alone with that shit head omegahungry alpha!"

Yoongi scoffed, Raised brow at the omega. "A reward? Is this a part of your plan?"

"Duhhh!!" Hoseok retorted, a mixture of sarcasm and sass in his tone.

Yoongi licked his lips, a smirk playing at the side of his lips. He was enjoying the feminine side of the omega A little too much, especially to the fact that he was presently prettily dressed.

"Alright, what reward do you want?" He stated playfully, turning his full frame to face the omega.

"I want my freedom." Hoseok didn't waste his time in answering, monotone gaze at the Alpha.

"Okay?..."

Hoseok shook his head. "No you don't get it. I mean I need to go... away from you, away from all this shit. I need to return to my motherland... Korea."

Yoongi raised a brow, amused gaze at the omega. "You know that's not possible."

Hoseok's shoulders slumped, letting out a frustrated sigh. "It is if you let me."

"That's the thing. I don't want to."

"Why?!" Hoseok's brow furrowed, annoyed gaze at the Alpha. "I can't be stuck with you all the time! I've got my life to live!"

Yoongi stared deadpanned at the omega, arms still crossed over his chest. "You're a JADE. You should know the reason already."

"And? Is there a reason why I'm being called a JADE that I don't know about?" Hoseok queried, not catching the alpha's point. "That was my code name back at the silo, there's nothing special to it."

Yoongi's brow furrowed. Concerned gaze studying the still frowning omega.

"What! Don't give me that look!"

The alpha let out a soft sign, shaking his head. "You sure don't know why you're being called a JADE. It's not just a code name."

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"If I let you go, you'll be hunted down and... probably get killed or owned back again by another person."

Hoseok's frown deepened, still not quite catching what the alpha was implying.

"You see, that's why you're a JADE. Everyone wants a piece of you, especially to the fact that you're an omega, and if they can't get you, they'll kill you."

"Wha..! I.." Hoseok was short of words, confused gaze at the Alpha.

"I still don't know why it is that." Yoongi went on. "All I know is you're a rear descendant of the ROSELIA EMPIRE, and any JADE being born as an omega under that blood line must be owned... or killed to avoid war of ownership, and if you were an alpha, you would have been spared with the mindset of reviving your empire back, and if you're not able to do that within a period of time, you'll be killed."

Hoseok gave a confused scoff. "Owned?... Killed? I'm not a fucking object! I'm a human! W- what's even all this!?" His tone sounded frustrated and confused, finding it hard to believe all that the alpha had said.

As if reading his thought, Yoongi went on speaking. "I can give you all the access you want to know more about yourself if you're finding it hard to believe me.... but I can't let you go. That's it. I can grant you your freedom around here tho."

Although he was sincere and honest, not having any mockery in his tone, but why was it sounding otherwise to the omega?

Hoseok gritted his teeth, hands balled up in a tight fist. "Im leaving... No one is gonna stop me."

Yoongi studied him for a while, signing soon after. "You can try." He shrugged, nonchalant, turning away from the omega. "I'll still get you." He completed, taking his seat behind the large glass table in the room. "But it's best if you don't tho, you'll only be putting yourself deeper into danger if you're away from me. Ones other empires know you're alive and free, they'll fight tooth and nails to get you first. You don't know it, but you alone can be the cause for a world war III."

Hoseok gave a bitter scoff, feeling helpless at the moment. "Isn't it best that I just take my life then?!..."
