"Many of us want to kill him",
Yoongi chuckled admist words,
his thumb gently grazing down to the omega's neck.

...I guess so...

"Okay,” Yoongi said finally, his voice gentle but firm. “You can be a part of this. But you have to promise me you’ll be careful. This isn’t just about us anymore; there’s so much at stake.”

Hoseok's eyes grew wider, a small smile tugging at both sides of his lips, “I promise,” he said softly, his voice tinged with relief and gratitude. “I’ll be careful.”

Yoongi couldn’t help but smile, seeing how happy the omega was. He was tempted to kiss him, and so he did, leaning closer and taking his lips in his by surprise

Hoseok’s breath hitched as Yoongi’s lips met his, the kiss soft and unhurried, yet filled with unspoken emotions. It was as if all the tension, the uncertainty, and the unspoken words between them melted away in that moment. Hoseok’s eyes fluttered shut, his initial surprise giving way to a gentle surrender. His hands instinctively found their way to Yoongi’s shoulders, fingers curling into the fabric of his shirt as he leaned into the kiss, letting himself be fully immersed in the warmth and familiarity of Yoongi’s touch.

Yoongi’s hands wrapped around his waist, pulling him closer to himself, so the omega was straddled to his laps. He deepened the kiss, savouring the way Hoseok responded to him so willingly. The softness of Hoseok’s lips, the faint, lingering taste of his breath—everything felt right in that moment. As their lips moved in sync, Yoongi felt an unfamiliar yet comforting sense of peace wash over him, like finding solace amidst the storm that had been brewing around them for so long.

An akward cough got them separated, with Hoseok pulling away quickly and hiding his face in the crook of the alpha's neck, full on embarrassment kicking in.

Yoongi shot the intruder an angry glare, seeing it was Seokjin, he couldn't help but roll his eyes. Seriously, this omega had been getting on his nerves a lot lately. He wondered how Namjoon was keeping up with him, knowing Namjoon wasn't one to tolerate his type of attitude.

" What do you want?" Yoongi spoke through gritted teeth, arms wrapping tighter around his omega's waist. He wasn’t sounding at all pleased.

Seokjin stood in the doorway, an amused smirk playing at the corners of his lips as he crossed his arms over his chest. “Sorry to interrupt your... sweet romantic moment,” he said, his tone dripping with playful sarcasm. "But I think you need to go." He continued with a serious tone, his thumb pointed at the door behind him. "Namjoon is looking for you."

"You could have at least knocked."

"I did. " Seokjin shrugged, not one bit looking fazed by the alpha’s intimidating glare. "You probably were too caught up in the moment to hear that."

It's been a week. Tonight was the beginning of their first mission, and mejin and Yoonji were supposed to be on their way to the airport tonight also.

Yoongi wanted them to have a night flight, despite his mother's protest. But he had to make her understand that it was the best way to keep them safe, which she eventually reluctantly agreed to.

Tonight was supposed to be only Yoongi and Hoseok taking part in the mission while Namjoon and the rest stood alert from a distance. There was a ball party that they were to attend as couples.

That wasn't looking too suspicious, since a lot of business tycoons would be present also. But the issue there was Hungjae and specifically Jay, Hoseok’s brother, would be there. Yoongi already knew things would turn ugly as long as the both of them were present.

Hoseok couldn’t be any more beautiful. Mejin had insisted to style him that evening before her departure.

"I see you're getting along well with Yoongi, hmm?" Mejin teased, placing a final touch on his make up.

Hoseok couldn’t help but smile as he admired himself in the mirror. "I guess so." He answered, gaze not Leaving the mirror. His reflection almost unrecognisable, even to himself. Mejin’s meticulous touch had transformed him into something breathtaking

His long, auburn hair cascaded down in loose waves, falling like silk past his waist and shimmering under the soft lighting of the room. Each strand seemed to catch the light, a delicate interplay of reds and browns that framed his face with an ethereal glow. His makeup was subtle yet striking, accentuating his doe eyes with a hint of smoky shadow that made them appear even larger and more expressive. A soft blush dusted his high cheekbones, and his lips were painted a deep, inviting shade of red, full and tempting.

The dress Yoongi had chosen for him was nothing short of perfection—a long, black gown that hugged Hoseok’s slender frame like a second skin. The fabric flowed elegantly from his shoulders, draping down his body with a graceful fluidity that was both sensual and sophisticated. One side of the dress was pleated up to his upper thigh, revealing a tantalising sliver of smooth, pale skin with every step he took. The asymmetrical cut added a touch of boldness to the ensemble, the pleats catching with every slight movement, creating a delicate ripple effect that seemed almost hypnotic. The bodice was form-fitting, cinching at his waist before flaring subtly, emphasising the gentle curve of his hips.

Around his neck, he wore a thin, silver chain adorned with a single, sparkling gemstone that rested just above his collarbone, drawing the eye to the graceful line of his neck. His ears were decorated with matching silver hoops, simple yet elegant, complementing the minimalist aesthetic that Mejin had crafted so expertly. His hands, delicate and graceful, bore rings that gleamed softly, catching the light with each subtle gesture.

But it was the shoes that completed the look, elevating it from merely beautiful to utterly captivating. The black heels were strappy and elegant, their thin, intertwining straps wrapping around Hoseok’s ankles and leading up to a delicate bow that sat just above his foot. Each step he took in those heels was a testament to his grace, the soft click of the stilettos on the marble floor a rhythmic reminder of the confidence he was trying to exude despite the nerves simmering beneath his composed exterior.

Mejin couldn't help but give a triumphant squeal as soon as she placed the final touch, admiring her work wholeheartedly.

"You’re so beautiful!" She squealed, bringing the omega to the front of the giant mirror at the other side of the room. "I bet Yoongi’s eyes will he googling out of it's socket when he sets his eyes on you."

A shy smile adjourned the younger omega's face, hearing that. "You think so?"

"Oh my God!" Mejin gasped dramatically, hands over her chest.  "You better not doubt your potentials. You don't know how many alpha's are dying to see you upclose even in your ugliest attire!"
