"Should I kiss you then?"
Yoongi cut him off,
his lips pressed lightly to the side of the omega's lips...

Their little romance was abruptly interrupted by the unmistakable sound of a camera clicking. Yoongi turned his head towards the source, catching sight of Yoonji with a mischievous grin, making her swift exit from his study as quietly as she had entered.
A scoffy chuckle escaped his lips as he turned back to the now fully embarrassed omega. "Looks like our little moment is no secret anymore."
Hoseok quickly slipped away before Yoongi could close the gap between them again, nervously laughing. "I'll take my leave now."
Before Yoongi could react, the omega was already out of sight.
Yoongi smiled at the closed door, his attention drifting back to the contract still in his hand. "We've got a long way to go, cupcake," he chuckled lightly, slowly flipping through the pages.

Hoseok tried—he really did try—to seem less nervous and unphased in front of the alpha. But it seemed that Yoongi was the devil himself, deliberately drawing the omega into his lair.
He cursed, kicking angrily at his blanket as he replayed everything that had happened. He was certain Yoongi would have kissed him if Yoonji hadn't intervened.
He lay on his bed, the events of the evening replaying in his mind like a broken record. His heart was still racing, the lingering heat of Yoongi's presence making it impossible to calm down. He buried his face in his pillow, muffling a groan of frustration. He couldn’t deny the magnetic pull he felt towards the alpha, but it terrified him just as much.
Yoongi was dangerous, both in the obvious sense and in how easily he got under Hoseok’s skin. Every glance, every word, seemed to be carefully crafted to break down the walls Hoseok had so desperately built around himself. And the worst part? It was working.
As the night dragged on, sleep eluded him. Hoseok tossed and turned, his mind drifting back to that moment in the study, the way Yoongi had looked at him—like he was something precious, something to be cherished. It was a look Hoseok hadn’t seen in years, a look he hadn’t thought he would ever see again.
He finally sat up, running a hand through his hair in frustration. There was no escaping it. Yoongi was relentless, and despite all his efforts to stay away, Hoseok found himself being pulled deeper into the alpha’s orbit. He needed to put some distance between them, but the thought of doing so made his heart ache in a way that confused and scared him.
Meanwhile, Yoongi was still in his study, the contract lying forgotten on his desk. His mind kept drifting back to the omega who had fled from him earlier. There was something about Hoseok that drew him in, something he couldn't quite put his finger on. It wasn’t just attraction—though that was definitely there—it was something deeper, something that made Yoongi want to protect him, to keep him close.
He leaned back in his chair, eyes fixed on the door Hoseok had walked out of. "Running away won’t help, cupcake," he murmured to himself. "You’ll come back."
Yoongi wasn’t going to push. He knew when to wait, when to let things unfold naturally. Hoseok needed time, and Yoongi was willing to give it to him—for now. But he also knew that time wouldn’t change what was between them. It was only a matter of time before Hoseok would stop fighting and accept what Yoongi already knew—that they were meant to be together.
As the night settled into the quiet hum of the city, both Yoongi and Hoseok were left alone with their thoughts, each thinking of the other, and wondering just how much longer they could keep this dance going before everything came crashing down.

Hoseok stood, arms crossed with an angry pout as he glared at the two awkwardly standing figures before him. Seokjin was seated on his bed, watching the omega, with questioning brows, waiting for him to say something.
He turned to Jimin, his frown deepening.
"Soo... you were the anonymous that dropped the pill in front of my door?" He finally said something after the long awaiting silence.
Jimin in response gave a nervous grin, waving his hands shyly at the taller.
"Hi!"
Hoseok rolled his eyes, turning to Taehyung. "And now I know why you already knew of my illness even before I told you."
The beta gave a nervous grin, doing the same as Jimin. "Hello!"
Why didn't you tell me!!!" Hoseok enquired, his voice raised.
"Well..." jimin began, his hands feigned. "It looked like you didn't recognize us, plus our lives would be on the line if anyone got to know we all came from the silo... it's already on the line anyway, us four being together right now is a huge risk on it's own." He completed, hoping the taller would understand.
Hoseok let out a huff, rolling his eyes. "Jeez I thought I was all alone all these while." He complained, a hint of relief in his voice.
"At least we're all here now." Taehyung spoke with an assuring smile.
"I'm still mad at you both!" Hoseok snapped, earning a pretend pout from Jimin.
"Why will you hide such things from me!!!"
Hoseok’s voice echoed in the room, his frustration palpable as he stared at them. Seokjin watched silently from his place on the bed, his eyes flicking between the three of them.
"Come on, JADE," Jimin said softly, dropping the playful act as he stepped closer. "We didn’t mean to hide anything from you. It was just...complicated."
"Complicated?" Hoseok scoffed, his arms tightening around himself. "You should’ve trusted me! Do you know how isolated I felt, thinking I was the only one dealing with all of this?"
Jimin’s face fell, his usual brightness dimmed by the omega’s hurt. "I know, and I’m sorry. We just thought it would be safer this way. The less you knew, the better protected you’d be. But that was a mistake, and I can see that now."
Taehyung nodded in agreement, his expression just as contrite. "We never wanted you to feel alone, Sweetheart. We were trying to protect you, even if it meant keeping you in the dark. But we’re here now, and we’ll face whatever comes together."
Hoseok sighed, his anger ebbing away as he saw the sincerity in their eyes. He knew they had only been trying to look out for him, but it didn’t erase the sting of feeling abandoned. "I get it," he said finally, his voice softening. "I just wish you’d told me sooner. We’re stronger together, not apart."
Seokjin, who had been silently observing, finally spoke up. "He’s right. We need to stick together, now more than ever. There’s no telling what might happen next, and we can’t afford any more secrets."
Jimin nodded eagerly, relief washing over him as Hoseok’s anger began to subside. "No more secrets, I promise."
Taehyung stepped forward, placing a reassuring hand on Hoseok’s shoulder. "We’re in this together. All of us. We’ve got your back."
Hoseok looked at the three of them, his heart swelling with a mix of emotions. Relief, gratitude, and a lingering trace of frustration all mingled together, but in the end, the relief won out. He wasn’t alone anymore, and that made all the difference.
"Okay," he said, giving them a small smile. "I’m still mad, but...I’m glad you’re here."
Jimin and Taehyung grinned in unison, their tension finally easing as they saw the omega’s expression soften.
"And we’re glad you’re here, too," Jimin replied, pulling Hoseok into a tight hug. "We’ve got a lot to catch up on, and we’re not going anywhere."
As they stood there, Seokjin couldn’t help but smile at the sight of them. For the first time in a while, things felt just a little bit lighter, even with the weight of the world pressing down on them. They were a team now, and together, they could face whatever challenges lay ahead.
