He was more than pissed with her.
He'd entrusted her with their safety,
yet,
she'd found her way to somewhere else,
leaving them exposed into the dangerous hands of the intruders.

...heat? What's that...

Hoseok was still on the bed, with Mejin sitting next to him, though he was still in a lot of pain, he had enough strength to put himself to sit.

Yoonji was fast asleep next to him, leaving both older omegas still awake. It was probably almost midnight by the time.

"You should sleep more." Mejin muttered, making her way out of the bathroom with a clean dry towel.

"I've tried to." Hoseok muttered back, his voice sounding tired, as he inspected the slowly reddening bandage around his thight.

He did try to sleep, he was obviously tired, and even turning sick, but the sleep just wasn't coming, plus his alert mind was holding him back from taking any rest, he feared that the invaders could find out their location and get to them before Yoongi did.

As if reading his mind, mejin spoke, assuring him that they were save. "You don't have to worry about us getting into any more danger." She said with an assuring smile, taking her seat on the single couch next to Hoseok. "Yoongi will be here soon, I promise."

Hoseok could only humm as a response to her assurance, he wasn't fully believing that, and he was obvious with it, not trying to hide the fact that he wasn't believing her.

Mejin let out a soft sign, gently wrapping the clean towel around his thight to stop the bleeding. "I know you've been made to always be alert, but you have to keep yourself off stress for once..." She spoke softly, taking a second towel and wrapping over his shoulder. "... for the sake of your health-.." She paused, the room going silent as she concentrated on wrapping the towel around his shoulder.

After completing that, she sat down back. "... and when I say health, I don't mean your present situation, I'm referring to you in general." She went on, a hint of seriousness and concerned in her tone.

Hoseok pursed his lips, turning his gaze to her with a raised brow.

"Your iron level is very low, and it's giving you a lot of hormonal complications. You might die if proper measures aren't taken."

Hoseok stiffened, eyes going wide as he raked his mind on what to say, nothing was coming.

Mejin frowned, noticing his stiffness, "you knew that already?!"

"I-... no I-..." he Honestly didn't know how to defend himself.

"Oh my god! Hoseok what are you doing to yourself?! What if it got worse and it ended up with something severe or untreatable?! Hell! It's already getting worse!!" The older woman scolded, her voice raised.

"It's not like I could do anything." Hoseok muttered, his shoulders slumping.

"What?!"

"Yeah, I know I'm sick, yeah, I know I'm slowly dying.... but there's nothing I can do to it." Hoseok spoke boredly, resting his back on the headrest of the bed. "I would have been long dead if I told anyone, you finding out is already an endangerment to me." He completed, turning his monotone gaze to the older woman. "If the monster you call Hungjae finds out I've been chronically ill, he wouldn't hesitate to send people to kill me. I've witnessed other imprisoned omegas getting slaughtered even at the slightest sign of fever.... so yeah, even if I know it's killing me, it's best I remain quiet and live longer. It's not my fault that I'm sick, I've lived with it and managed for years now, so I should be fine living with it for Whatever remaining time I have left." He completed the last sentence with a nonchalant shrug.

Mejin's jaw was ajar, rendered speechless at the boys words. "OK, but you're out of there now, I don't think, he would-..."

Hoseok scoffed, interrupting her mid sentence. "You're talking like you don't know how much of a monster that old fuck is, that man doesn't give a fuck about who anyone is, he wouldn't hesitate to slit your throat once he finds out you're in his way.

Mejin let out a soft sign, now understanding the Younger's words. "How about you let Yoongi know? At least he can-..."

"No." Hoseok cut her off again, "I don't want to, I don't trust anyone."

"But you're risking your life if you keep going this way!" Mejin tried to make him reason "even if you're lucky enough to live longer, There'll be a lot of complications you wouldn't be able to handle! Take for instance, giving birth, I bet you haven't even had your first heat! That's already a complication on it's own!"

"Heat? What's that?"

"See!!" Mejin flayed her hands in the air defeatedly, "he doesn't even know what heat is about!, what else do you not know?!"

"How to cook?" Hoseok stated playfully, still not getting why she was so worked up.

Mejin stared deadpanned at him. "This is not a joke Hoseok! You're putting your health at more risk if you don't even know the simplest things every omegas are supposed to know.

"Aren't we all the same thing? The only difference I see is the way the society portrays us, they see us as weak emotional beings, while the alpha's are seen as the strong ones just because they seem to have bigger physiques than the rest of us."

Mejin let out a frustrated sign, facepalming at the younger omega's ignorance. "You sure need to be taught a lot."

A single knock on the door gained both omegas attention, Hoseok sat up, alert gaze at the door, waiting for the knock to come again.

The knock did come again, again, and again, this time, in a rhymical pattern. Mejin stood up immediately, letting out a relieved sign as she hurried towards the door. "It's Yoongi." She stated with a cheerful tone, hurrying to unlock the door.

"Took you long enough!" Mejin seethed with a playful glare as soon as she opened the door to reveal the tall alpha standing behind the door.

"Im sorry." Yoongi grinned, wrapping his arms firmly around the woman, "I had to take longer routes, I was being followed." He completed, finally landing his eyes on Hoseok as he made his way into the room.

Hoseok was still seated on the bed, arms crossed over his chest, watching both mother and son with an expression Yoongi couldn't read. He looked really sick, his once sun-kissed skin looked paler than it was supposed to be, plum heart shaped lips chaped and drapped off it's natural rosy colour

He frowned as soon as he noticed his wrapped up thight and shoulder, he hadn't failed to notice how pale and sick he looked too. He let go of his mother, handing her his keys. "You go down first. Namjoon and the guards are waiting. Take yoonji with you." Yoongi directed to his mother, his gaze not leaving the injured omega on the bed.
