And with that,
Hoseok hurled out of their hideout,
slamming the slide wall,
shut as quick as he left it.

...you're injured!!...

Hoseok counted carefully, there were four of them all masked up and fully armed.

Looks easy.

He hadn't been noticed yet. Except the one that had already seen him through the peep hole, the other three were in a farther distance, lurking around the hallway.

He turned back to the masked man standing in front of him. "How may I help you?" He asked, his voice amusely calm.

"Help?" The man repeated, and Hoseok could tell he was smiling behind his mask.

"No we don't need help anymore, you walked right into our trap already." And before the blink of an eye, the man was charging towards the omega in a speed no one could comprehend... well except Hoseok. He was faster.

Knocking his fist square into the man's face, he watched the man stagger backward, almost loosing his balance, groaning from the impact. Using that distraction as an opportunity, he hurried behind the man, wrapping his arms tightly around his neck.

"Sorry, you might be the one needing help." He whispered into his ear, squeezing the life out of the man.

Finally succeeding in knocking the man cold, Hoseok took his gun, inspecting to see if it had enough bullets. There weren't much, but if he was lucky enough, and didn't bump into any of the masked men, they would be fine. His problem now was he had no idea how many those intruders were. He'd counted four on the ground floor... now three, but there could be more on the upper floors.

Silently approaching a second masked man who was too busy grazing outside the large field through the glass wall to notice the omega's presence, Hoseok knocked him out instantly, just the same way he had done to the first.

Two more to go.

He wasn't very lucky with the third. The masked man sighted him before he got to him, and Hoseok's gun was blown away from his hand in an instant, leaving him completely harmless. Hoseok knew to duck before a second fire was made, scraping his legs across the man's as he did so. He watched the masked man loose his balance, falling back first to the ground, his gun rolling out of his hand to the floor as he gripped tightly on his now aching waist, groaning in pain.

Hoseok's victory was short lived when a third short fired through the air, grazing past his ear.

He spun around just in time to be knocked down by another masked man fist. He staggered to the ground, loosing his balance.

"We found him." He heard the masked man say to his communicator.

"Hello... anyone the..."

Hoseok gripped on the gun laying on the floor next to him, spinning around, still on the floor, and fireing the hell out of the man, his blood spilling all over him as he kept on firing.

He watched the man fall lifeless to the ground, his communicator rolling from is hand.

He got up quickly, wiping the man's blood off his face, picking up his communicator, he turned it on.

"Unit 1 any problem?" A voice spoke from the device.

Hoseok remained quiet, contemplating if it was a good idea to speak.

"Unit 1 any problem? Any help needed?" The voice spoke again.

"No. Not yet, it's pretty empty down here." Hoseok responded in the manliest voice he could manage to muster, hoping the caller wouldn't pick on it.

There was a short pause from the other end, followed by a confirmed "Okay" and Hoseok didn't waste his time in hurrying back to yoonji.

He met her crouched to the floor, quietly bawling her eyes out.

"Hey!" Hoseok called out, and she flinched, quickly getting up, fearful gaze on the taller omega.

"It's just me," Hoseok assured gently, tucking his now acquired gun into his pant.

Her gaze went to his shoulder, and he watch her eyes widen. "Y- you're injured!" She said, trembling, hands going over her mouth as more tears began to flow.

Hoseok followed her gaze, and there it was. His grey sweatshirt around his shoulder painted completely with red. Apparently, the bullet Hadn't grazed past him, it penetrated through his shoulder, and now he was profusely bleeding.

How Hadn't he felt the pain.

"Oh shoot! I didn't notice that." He said rather boredly, scaring yoonji even further.

"Hey! I'll be fine, I promise!" Hoseok tried to assure, hoping to ease down her panic,  but it wasn't working. There was literally blood dripping from his shoulder, which little kid wouldn't be scared of that.

Hoseok quickly took off his sweatshirt, tearing up the thin layer of cloth beneath it.

"Okay! Little girl, i'll need your help please! Hoseok hurried out, his tone firm, hard gaze on her, as he crouched next to her.

"You don't want me to die right?" She nodded quickly, tears still refusing to stop. "And you don't want to die too?" She nodded again. "And you want your mum to be save?" Another nod.

"Good, so I'll need you to be strong for me. If you want to get up there to your mum, you have to push away all your fears. But before that, I need you to help me wrap this up, so that I don't bleed to death. He said the last sentence so casually and it did nothing but scare the little omega even further.

"YOU ARE NOT GOING TO DIE!!" She cried out, tearful gaze at the older omega.

"Yeah Yeah! I know that! JADES aren't supposed to die young." He spoke with an almost sarcastic and unserious tone. "So i'll need you to help me wrap this up if you really don't want me to die." He completed, pressing the torn fabric to her palm.

She nodded vigorously, cleaning away her tears as she collected the cloth from him.

Wrapping the cloth carefully around his shoulder to stop the bleeding. Now Hoseok could feel the sting getting intense as the cloth pressed to his wound. He held back a wince as he pat the girls shoulder.

"Thanks" Hoseok muttered, rising up.

"We can't use the elevator because we might be walking straight into their trap." Hoseok spoke, moving forward to look through the peep hole. "So we'll be taking the stairs."

"Tha- that's more dangerous." Yoonji voiced out. Her voice less trembling.

"Yeah, I know." Hoseok turned around, serious gaze on her.

"You know every nook and cranies of this place more than I do."

She nodded in response.

"Any secret passage?"

She gave an hesitant nod. "B- but it's pretty far from here. We have to get to the second floor before we're able to access it."

"Okay." Hoseok nodded his head turning around to peep through the hole again.

"You'll be the one directing the way for me." He spoke, turning back to her to read her expression.

It was as expected hesitant and unsure.

"We have to get back to your mother." Hoseok pointed out, "and we're running out of time"...
