They stayed like that,
wrapped up in each other,
as the last rays of the sun disappeared into the horizon,
and the stars began to twinkle above them.

...Yoongi, please...
When Hoseok woke up, he met himself on the bed, a dry towel wrapped around him to keep him warm. Though he was dried up already, he was still in his swim suit, with Yoongi’s white shirt worn above it.
He sat up, rubbing his eyes, trying to fish out where the alpha was. The bed being cold beside him told him the alpha had been up for a while.
'He's probably busy with work.' Was what he thought of as he stood on his feet, making his way out of the room, ignoring the slight pain in his lower Abdomen. He's been feeling that for a while now, and being the careless person he is didn't bother to think about his heat possibly coming soon.
"Yoongi?" Hoseok called out, eyes searching around the wide hallway. Hoseok huffed after checking around for a while, seeing he was no where nearby. He was about to give up searching, when the strong smell of cigarette hit his nostrils.
Hoseok's face scrunched in disgust as he began tracing the smell. It led him to a separate room, quite a distance from where he and Yoongi had chosen to use throughout their vacation.
As Hoseok drew nearer, the unmistakable scent of the alpha began to fill his senses, taking away the smell of the cigarette. It only grew stronger as he approached the room. So strong that Hoseok felt his knees buckle, almost going into submission mode even when he was still yet to see the alpha. He knew something was wrong, he just couldn't figure out what it was, or had forgotten.
When Hoseok opened the door to the room, there was no one in, but the state at which it was told him the alpha had been there. There was an ashtray on the floor, the content in it spilled. The bed was rough, and a glass lamp was shattered into pieces on the floor. There were a few clothes scattered on the bed which all belonged to Hoseok himself.
Hoseok frowned, still not understanding what was happening. Then it clicked. What was it again? Hoseok tried to remember what Mejin had told him about heat in general.
There was a low grunt coming from the balcony of the room, and Hoseok wasted no time In heading towards it. In there lay Yoongi, sprawled out on the cold floor. He was in nothing but a pair of sweatpants, his chest left bare. The rate at which he was sweating was in contrast to the cold night breeze.
"Yoongi? Are you okay?" Hoseok called out, rushing towards the alpha. He knelt down beside him, shaking lightly on his shoulder. Completely unaware of what danger he might be putting himself into.
Yoongi's eyes snapped open, and Hoseok hands with drew, visibly shuddering at the blood red orbs that stared back at him.
Hoseok’s heart skipped a beat as Yoongi’s gaze locked onto him, his eyes burning with an intensity he’d never seen before. For a moment, there was silence, the only sound being the distant crash of waves against the shore and the erratic rise and fall of Yoongi's chest.
“Y-Yoongi?” Hoseok stammered, his voice barely a whisper. “What’s happening?”
Yoongi didn’t respond right away. Instead, he let out a deep, guttural growl, his hands reaching for Hoseok's neck. The next thing Hoseok knew, he was on the floor, beneath the alpha.
Hoseok gasped, his back hitting the cold tiles of the balcony floor as Yoongi hovered over him. The intensity in the alpha's eyes was terrifying, yet strangely alluring. Hoseok’s heart pounded wildly against his chest, his breath coming in shallow, frantic bursts. He tried to speak, but the words were caught in his throat, trapped by the weight of Yoongi's gaze, and his fingers clasped tightly around his neck.
"Y- Yoongi-... stop." He managed to say, his hands on the alpha's fingers, attempting to pry them off his neck.
Although skilled, he wasn't as strong as Yoongi unfortunately, so it didn't take time for the alpha to clasp both of his wrist in one firm grasp with his free hand, holding it above his head.
Yoongi's grip on Hoseok’s wrists tightened, but his eyes suddenly softened, as if flickering between rage and reason. Hoseok could feel the warmth of the alpha's body, the scent of his musk mixed with sweat and a hint of cigarette. He felt the pull, the undeniable urge to submit, but something in him refused to yield completely.
"Yoongi, please..." Hoseok whispered, his voice barely audible. "Snap out of it."
The words seemed to reach Yoongi, his fingers loosening ever so slightly, giving Hoseok just enough room to breathe. The growl in his chest softened, replaced by a labored breath, the red in his eyes gradually fading to it's usual dark ones.
But before Hoseok could fully comprehend what was happening, Yoongi’s body trembled violently, and he collapsed on top of him, panting heavily, his head falling against the omega's shoulder. For a moment, they remained like that, chests heaving together, caught between desire and desperation.
“I'm sorry…” Yoongi managed, his voice ragged, barely holding on to his sanity. "It's... it's my rut, I didn't mean to..."
Hoseok swallowed, his throat still raw. "It’s okay," he murmured, feeling the pulse of the alpha’s heartbeat through his chest. "I know its hard to control your wolf."
Yoongi nodded weakly, still fighting against his primal instincts to devour the omega laying beneath him. "You shouldn't be near me right now. It’s dangerous."
Hoseok bit his lip, weighing his options. He knew he should walk away, give Yoongi the space to regain control, but the thought of leaving him like this, so vulnerable, twisted something inside him. “I’m not going anywhere,” he said with quiet determination.
Yoongi’s eyes fluttered open, locking onto Hoseok’s. “You don’t understand—”
“I do,” Hoseok interrupted. “Maybe more than you think.”
Slowly, Hoseok’s fingers trailed up to Yoongi's jaw, cupping it gently. The touch seemed to calm the alpha, grounding him, pulling him back from the brink of whatever darkness threatened to consume him.
“You're not a monster,” Hoseok whispered. “And I trust you.”
Yoongi swallowed hard, the intensity in his gaze dimming further. “You shouldn’t,” he warned, his voice laced with both fear and longing.
Hoseok shook his head, his heart hammering against his ribs. “It’s too late for that, Yoongi.”
Yoongi’s resolve crumbled at that moment, and he buried his face in the crook of Hoseok’s neck, taking in the omega’s scent, letting it wash over him. Hoseok felt the shift, the way Yoongi’s entire body relaxed against him, and for the first time that night, he felt the danger dissipate.
“Stay with me,” Yoongi murmured, his voice barely a whisper against Hoseok’s skin.
Hoseok nodded, threading his fingers through Yoongi's hair. “Always.”
They stayed there for what felt like hours, tangled together under the moonlight, the ocean's waves serenading them from a distance. Hoseok could feel Yoongi's breathing gradually steadying, his heartbeat slowing as he regained control. There, in the quiet embrace of night, they found solace in each other’s warmth.
