Aella The Spirit of Vengance

Allen's POV

"Your Majesty, even though you are my King you better have a good reason for summoning me in the middle of the night", Selene said while barging into the council room. She was the last one to arrive. "Trust me, Selene, I wouldn't have been doing this if it wasn't necessary. I apologize for interfering in your personal time", Alan said with respect but only earned a laugh from Greyson. They all turned to Selene and looked closely, she was covered with hickeys.

"Raymond must be very pissed", Raphael said with amusement making Arthur chuckle. "I bet he is", they looked at each other and then laughed a little more. "Alright, settle down. Like I said there's a reason that I disturbed you this evening. You're all aware that Marcus has been funding the hunters correct?", they all nod. "And you're also aware that Nava was kidnapped and tortured by his daughters?", he asked again and they nodded. 

"They also killed our unborn children", they nod again. "I believe you're also aware that Nava miraculously came back to us", Allen said making some of them furrow their brows, it was clear they were getting impatient. "Where's this going, Allen? We don't want to relive what happened. We want answers, you were trying to find where they're hiding so tell us what you came up with, where are they? We're tired of this back and forth. Are we going to war with the hunters or not?", Selene asked sounding pissed.

"I wish that was the reason I reached out. We have a bigger problem. When Nava returned to life from her critical state, she regained a Lycan called Aella. She also has Siren powers which we had no idea she had. Apparently, they were locked away, but her Lycan said someone intentionally locked her away so she wouldn't connect with Nava. I'm beginning to believe that there was a good reason for it", he said while recalling Nava losing consciousness every time Aella took control. "Why would you say that? Did something happen?", Raphael asked.

"Well, she has been experiencing blackouts whenever her Lycan is in control. We have just returned from the new Blue Valley Pack and she almost killed Orion and Hector for refusing to take her side when she told them, she was going to kill their ex-mates. I saw it with my own eyes, her siren ability can lure anyone to wherever she is and kill them by drowning them. She had gills while she was still in Lycan form. I've never seen anything like it in all my 400 years.

She's powerful, it took Conall all his strength to knock her out. Being mated to her again while she was in her Lycan form gave him new abilities. The mating made Conall drink her blood giving him access to such new powers, that's the only way we were able to defeat her without using Falkor. We all know Falkor is way too powerful when in battle mode, if I allowed him to take over he would have killed Aella and Nava along with her", Allen explained and they all agreed.

"So what are we going to do Allen? This is our Queen, we cannot just kill her or lock her up", Selene asked looking troubled, she did have a soft spot for Nava from the first time he introduced them. "Selene I know that, which is why I called for this meeting. Arthur, we need you to dig up anything that you can find on Aella and bring it to us. Any weaknesses... anything that can help us, I can't lose another mate", Allen instructed but Arthur didn't move.

"You don't have to. I know everything. This is not the first time Aella has shown herself. I remember there was a village that was massacred and only one child survived. That child started going after the Rogues that destroyed her village. Nobody understood how a child under 8 years old could kill feral werewolves.

Cadmus and I were sent to investigate, we found the child, she had already turned into a wolf. We know our children don't get their wolves until they're teenagers but this one looked mature already.

Cadmus decided to take her in. He raised her as his own but she started killing people at the pack for petty reasons, saying that, anyone who did something wrong deserved to die. We took the matter to Alexander but even he didn't know what to do at the time. We settled with chaining her but, one day she attacked one of the guards and ate his flesh.

She started killing one member of the pack after the other. Alexander caught her when she was about to kill a child and that's when he summoned a witch. She's the one who locked Aella away. She forced the separation between the child and the werewolf within her, it was a painful process but it was the only way that we could stop Aella.

Because she was too young, she couldn't survive the pain, she died out of agony. The werewolf that was trapped within her disappeared forever. The witch did warn us, she said that whatever chains were holding the werewolf wouldn't hold forever because, should the werewolf spirit hear another call, she would come back to make things right.

Her only task is vengeance, she hears the calls of all who are suffering, and all who are hurting, and whenever there is someone who's deeply broken, she tends to appear within them and offer her allegiance to them in return, promising them vengeance.

I think that's what happened to Nava. She must have accepted her, what she doesn't know is, that after vengeance comes the hunger for blood. When that point reaches, she won't be able to hold back. She will kill everyone and that will be the end of us all", Arthur said making Allen's eyes go wide with shock.

"What in the bloody fuck is that? Why did we not know any of this?", Greyson asked Arthur. "Alexander made me promise not to put it anywhere in the records. He was afraid that if that information fell into the wrong hands, someone might manipulate fate because despite this werewolf being out of control, there's only one person who can control her", Arthur said making Greyson's face covered with hope.

"Spit it out... who is it? Who can control her before she crosses the line!", Greyson barked. Arthur didn't say anything, he just turned towards Allen and it all made sense across the table.

He was about to clarify when their door busted open, they all looked at the entrance and they were surprised to see Marcus walking in. He was holding on to the wall because one of his legs was torn to pieces.

"You must have a death wish", Raphael said while standing up. "No... Your Majesty... help me, a Lycan that I've never seen before showed up at our hideout. She killed all my guards in a blink of an eye then took my daughters disappearing with them in a portal. It was a Fae Portal",  he rambled while struggling to breathe.

"I love my daughters and I would do anything for them, including putting my life on the line for them to be rescued. Please help them. I'm ready to face any punishment you decide, just please... help them", he said then fell on the ground face first and lost consciousness.

"What the hell is going on?", Selene asked while looking at Allen. He was speechless.

A portal opened right before they could move Marcus from the ground and Niall walked out of it. "Sorry to interrupt but, we have a problem, Aurora is missing", he said while looking at Allen. The whole room turned to look at him as well. The only words he could say were, "It has begun".
