Nava's POV

"Welcome to the Corner Cafe what can I get you?", Sara asked with a huge smile. "Hello Sara, fancy seeing you here", she said then looked up to meet her eyes. "Nava? What are you doing here?", she asked looking genuinely surprised. "I'm here to see you. I was hoping to have a chat with you. I need your help", she said pretending to be scared. "What did Marcus do now?", she asked. "He wants to kill me because Hector and Orion broke the bond with your daughters out of guilt", Aella said.

Sara looked hurt. She sat opposite of Aella clearly not recognising the difference in their voice. "Nava, I told them to leave you alone. No one listened. I'm so sorry. Do you need me to talk to them?", she offered. "Yes please, can you come with me to their safe house? I'm so tired of running", she asked with watery eyes. "Of course, let me go take my purse and we'll leave", she said then stood up.

Aella watched as she approached the counter and whispered to an old man with a beard. The man looked shocked and then whispered back. Sara's body tensed and she swallowed hard but proceeded to the Staff Only door.

A few moments later she walked out and nodded at the old man who looked at the table in front of him and gestured to the men who were sitting on it to follow Sara. Aella was happy. If they didn't find out about her earlier then they would have disappointed her.

"I'm ready, lets go... you have a car?", Sara asked trying to sound normal. "No. I don't. Is it ok if we use yours? If you have one that is", "Of course. Let's go", she said and they walked out. She heard footsteps following behind them and smiled.

They got in the car and started driving. She looked at the side mirror but didn't see any car following them. It kinda disappointed her but she knew they spoke. So there had to be a plan somewhere.

"You can rest if you want. We have an hour or two until we get there and you look tired", she said making Aella smile. "Thank you... I really do feel exhausted", she said then made herself comfortable and closed her eyes.

Cold water was thrown on her face making her wake up abruptly only to find herself tied to a table. She was surrounded by men she didn't know making her furrow her brows.

"Who are you? Where is Sara? I swear if you hurt her, I will kill you all", she said pretending not to know what they were up to. They laughed. "You mean this Sara?", one of them asked as they paved the way for Sara. "Sara? Are you ok?", she asked her. "You're not Nava. Who are you?", she asked confidently.

Aella smiled and broke the chains then sat on the table and looked around. "Took you long enough", she said with a chuckle that no one returned. "I'm her Lycan. She got me when your daughters kidnapped, tortured, killed Nava's unborn babies, and left her to die", Aella's words seemed to come as a surprise to Sara. "They would never, they can hardly stand the sight of blood. That's impossible", she said while looking at the old man she was whispering to earlier at the Cafe.

"Mindlink Marcus. Ask him if it's true", he said then stepped away for Sara to pass.

"If what you're saying is true then what do you want her for?", the old man asked. It was a tricky question but Aella didn't want to lie to dead people so she decided to be honest and allow them to pick their battles.

"Revenge... you see, none of this would have happened if she didn't tell her husband to orchestrate the whole thing. Let me tell you a story about my human... She was mated to the Royal twins. The ones her daughters were with. She was their fated mate. After Sara convinced her husband to blackmail the Werewolf King, the twins were forced to mate with her daughters. Which broke the bond with my human causing her to fall into a coma for some time.

She moved on but the twins didnt. She got a mate who loved her and got pregnant. That's when she was kidnapped. She begged for her babies' lives but they killed them anyway and left her for dead. In all honesty, I'm just here to avenge her. Is that a good enough answer for ya?", she said making the old man draw his pistol and shoot.

Aella smiled and used her Lycan speed to dodge the bullet. She summoned her Siren powers and made the man shoot his people then himself.

She walked out of the room that was full of dead bodies and blood and followed Sara's scent. She heard her crying and followed the sound. She found her sitting on the floor. "I never thought it would reach this level. I just wanted Marcus to be happy. He was always too aggressive and it made the King's trust in him fall every day. Then he started wanting more power and when I saw the twins had no mates, I told him to find a way to make our daughters powerful instead. He used his connections and found out about Christopher and everything went downhill from there", she said with more tears. "Mates... they can make us do crazy things right Sara?", she said then transformed into her Lycan.

'Have you made your peace Sara?', she asked and Sara, "Yes, it was my fault. I should have stopped my daughters, they are always as driven as their father. If I didnt run from my family then I would have stopped them", she said with even more sadness. "I'm ready", she said then kneeled on the floor. Aella extended her claws and detached her head from her shoulders. She took in the scene of blood and smiled.

She picked up her head and looked at it. 'Let's go meet your mate now shall we?', she said and started walking out of the warehouse.

She tried opening the portal but she couldn't. Something was blocking her magic. "You're not going anywhere Aella", someone said from the forest. She turned back to human form and shouted, "Show yourself!".

A woman with white hair and purple eyes emerged from the trees. "Hello Aella, you've been busy", she said looking at Sara's head. "Who are you and why are you in my way?", she asked feeling the anger in her grow.

"My name is Phoebe. You might have heard of my sister, the Captain of the King's Guard?", she said making Nava's consciousness awake. 'It's Philomena's sister. Allen's fated mate's sister. Aella you can't hurt her', 'Nava I stand by what I said. If she stands in my way, I will kill her', Aella said and blocked Nava.

She could feel Nava struggling to reach out to her but Aella's will was too strong for her.

"Don't worry Nava. She won't hurt me, besides I'm only here to observe", she said then sat on a rock that was next to a tree. She pointed to her left and Allen appeared. Even though he was in human form. He looked different. His Aura was too powerful for Aella to remain standing. She went on her knees and bowed.

"What's happening? What did you do to my mate?", she asked while looking down. Submitting to him. It made Phoebe laugh. "I'm surprised, you hadn't met your mate's dragon until now? What a shame. Now bow before your King", she said making Aella scream.

She transformed into her Lycan and started charging towards Allen with all her strength.

He only smirked.
