Y/N POV:
I can feel the warm rays of the sun hitting the back of my exposed body, humming to myself in bliss. I reach out my arm behind me looking for Natasha unable to feel her, "Nat?" I grumble my voice still full of sleep. "Nat?" I frown "Tash, what's that smell?" I mumble. Rolling in the bed I see it's cold and empty, the room is just as bare.
The smell hits me again, "What is that?" I scrunch my face up trying to place it, "Oh god." My eyes go wide in realisation, I jump out the bed grabbing any clothes I can throwing them on as I run towards the kitchen.
Light smoke is engulfed in the kitchen, I stop and stand at the door leaning against the frame taking in the view in front of me. Natasha is there hissing profanities to herself as she's wafting the smoke with a towel as best as she can.
Leaning against the door frame I fold my arms just watching her, I can't help the smile that grows on my face."Good morning." I chuckle as her eyes lock onto me.
"Oh, oh you're not-" She hides the towel behind her back as if the smoke filling the room is not abundantly clear "You're not meant to be awake yet." The panic in her eyes makes me chuckle.
I hum trying to hide my smile, "Everything ok in here?" I step forward keeping my arms crossed.
She makes her way over to me, "Yeah Yep, everything is fine. You should go back to bed." She smiles pecking me on the lips while keeping her hands behind her back hiding her towel, smiling to hide the panic.
"Hmm of course, of course." I nod tilting my head to look around her but she steps in my view. "You sure everything is ok?"
"Yeah" she beams more convincingly "Go back to bed I've got this."
I bite my smile away nodding at her, "Nat, baby?"
"Hmm?" she smiles.
I lean forward, I lower my voice to a whisper "The frying pan just set on fire."Her eyes go wide "Wait, what?" snapping her head in the direction of the cooker "Oh god, oh god." She runs over to the cooker leaving me to watch on as she becomes less visible in the smoke that is filling the room, she quickly fills up a jug with water.
I quickly bounce over to her grabbing her hand before she can pour the liquid, "No, no, no" I gently say, "Not a good idea, it can make the oil splash, spreading the fire.""I-help me?" She looks at me panic present once more.
I smile, stepping around her I grab a lid and very very carefully place it on the fire enclosing it within, turning the hob off and moving it from the heat. "Go open the doors so we can let some of this smoke out" I say before pressing the fan button on.
The fan and open doors make quick work of removing the smoke making it easier for me to see the red head. Her hair is all messy, looking a little dishevelled with a very sad defeated look on her face.I make my way around the huge breakfast bar leaning against it and putting my hand out, "Come 'ere"
She sulks over throwing her towel on the side behind me before grabbing my hand. I pull her in wrapping my arms around her waist, nudging my nose off her cheek. "Hey look at me" she shakes her head making me chuckle. "Please."
Looking up, her green eyes full of sorrow, "I just wanted to make you breakfast in bed" she shrugs, her voice quiet.I search her eyes "The fact that you have tried means so much to me my love. I appreciate it" I smile placing a soft kiss on her cheek, "Hey no being grumpy with me..." I pull our bodies closer.
Dropping her head to my shoulder she lets out a defeated huff "I'm not, I'm sorry... I just wanted to do something nice for you."
Unable to help the chuckle that falls my mouth, "Oh you do so, so, so much for me Natasha." I say into the mop of hair she's hiding behind. She hums.
Rolling my eyes I grab her ass jolting her up, making her grab on for dear life and squeal, in one smooth move spinning us around and placing her on the breakfast bar. "Ahh that's better I can see you now."
