Brystal couldn't contain the yawn that escaped her lips as she reached a flight of stairs. Spotting out Alejandro waiting for her at the bottom step. Taking her slow time down each time till she reached her old friend.
A small smile was creased on Alejandro's lips. Dressed in his ambassador uniform, looking ever so clean and spotless. His white jacket trimmed with gold around the edges and a red oat he symbol stood out against his right side of the jacket.
He didn't show an inch of tiredness, he seemed well prepared though. His hands laced around the grasp of his datapad. Patiently, tapping his foot as he waited to be able to talk to her.
"Tired much?" Alejandro asked her.
"Shut up," Brystal muttered to him.
"Honestly you look like Cauis after he comes back from his designing table on Yorktown. Like he just got hot by a train."
The two walked down a hallway, but at a slow pace. The meeting wasn't starting just yet, leaving them enough time to catch up. Even after the news of the incident that happened on the Enterprise two days ago.
The night sky had already glided across the planets star pricked sky. Dark shades of pink and indigo decorated the newly painted sky. Glimmering own through the crystal blue windows down at them.
"Cauis would throw himself in front of a train for fun in fairness," Brystal replied, following closely beside him.
She was already ready enough for one simple meeting. She'd been studying too much few hours ago. And that clearly showed.
Alejandro chuckled, "You know what.....he would. But that's just the old man. How are things with Blondie?"
Brystal knew immediately who he was referring two, "Good. I mean we had a few drinks before the meeting. Don't worry, only two small glasses of vodka."
"Good to know I don't need to do a drunk driver's test. And good to hear you two are wanting to take another step. Took me a year to get Adeline to agree!" Alejandro added.
"Me and Addy are totally different people in fairness! She.......did put another security system in the ship didn't she?"
"What's more to say than a psycho robot named Nomad, a planet like earth filled with children, a squire that think your some play toy and dresses you up like a doll, and a romulan commander that you steal a cloaking device from with a bit of seduction. Plus, getting kidnapped and electrocuted by someone. Not really fun, but exciting," Brystal explained.
"That sounds like more fun than I get in a day as an Ambassador." Alejandro commented, "All I have to do is wrote speeches for the once a month meetings with other ambassadors. Then I mostly have free time with Addy and my two lovely daughters."
