The trial started an hour after their brief meeting. All seated in the meeting room bathed in the purple lit skies of the planets atmosphere. A dazzling gem just like the rest of the planet was with its golden hinged windows and white flooring.
Straight out of a fairytale castle.
The two opposite groups took their seats on either side of where Sera's high platform was.prepared with rebuttals and arguments. Though chaos unfortunately would take its course during the first debate.
An older officer came by each table, holding out a datapad. He was expecting them to follow every rule that came with holding these trials. The one just before the other Ambassadors would help make the final decision. The second debate would commence after a recess.
"Do you promise to say nothing but the truth and the truth only?" The officer then came to Elsa and Brystal.
"Yes," Elsa and Brystal both answered with. The officer took his leave, knowing the meeting was about to begin. Having already asked the same question to Viper and Darya.
Before they took their seat in their desk, looking over to see Darya and Viper looking up at Sera. Who had only entered seconds ago to start the debate. And she stood out like a dazzling diamond in the colors that brushed around the room.
Her outfit was a sandy white with a small train of a cape trailing down from her shoulders. A golden tiny band laid on her head. She looked so regal and Nobel that it was hard to imagine she once was a follower of Arik's.
"We are gathered here to today to discuss what's going to happen to the Recreations since Caera's been destroyed and Arik Soong is gone. We will also discuss the matters of this meeting to the point of whether or not to allow Elsa to continue to build a colony for her kind."
Sera's gaze shifted down towards Brystal and Elsa. Readied with papers set in their desk and other information written on Elsa's datapad. It all depended on attitude and how much someone was focused in their argument.
Distractions would not be tolerated.
"Commander Brystal Pike, you have the floor," Sera looked over to meet Brystal's waiting impatiently. But Brystal pulled off a calmness as she kept every note Adeline made at the ready. Standing up from the silver chairs of their desk, a few feet away from Viper's and Darya's.
Sera's platform was at least 8 feet high up in the room's tall ceiling. It was like she were a higher and more well known person, well she was to the council. And they'd only be seated up in there seats around her on the second debate. Council rules.
"Thank you, Sera," Brystal bowed her head, "To define Arik's decades of torturing, abusing in all sorts of ways, and trying to enhance others bodies without their consent. He started this in the 1980's, capturing about 345 until 1998. That was when the people of Earth all realized that the people who had disappeared had mentioned an Arik. But when they began a search for him, it turned out that Arik had already left with a spacecraft he'd been building for years and had all of the people he'd stolen their lives from with him-"
