Y/N sat on her bed, watching as Calie rummaged through her closet with an intensity that suggested she was preparing for war rather than just picking an outfit. After a few minutes, Calie emerged, triumphantly tossing a dark green shirt and suit pants onto Y/N's lap.

"There you go. Something sharp but not too over the top," Calie said, her eyes scanning Y/N's reaction as if expecting a protest.

Y/N raised an eyebrow at the outfit but didn't say anything. She liked the dark green shirt; it reminded her of something understated yet classy—just like Scarlett's style. Nodding slightly to herself, she started to get dressed while Calie disappeared into the bathroom to get ready.

By the time Y/N finished buttoning the first few buttons of her shirt, the doorbell rang, echoing through the apartment. She stood up, still fumbling with the buttons, and made her way toward the door. But before she could reach it, Calie had already opened it.

"Hey, guys!" Calie's excited voice came from the hallway.

Scarlett and Chris walked in, both looking stunning, but Y/N's eyes were immediately drawn to Scarlett. She was wearing a dress with green accents that matched Y/N's shirt almost perfectly. The dress hugged Scarlett's curves in all the right places, and the way she carried herself—confident, radiant—made Y/N feel like she was seeing her for the first time.

Y/N froze mid-buttoning, just staring at Scarlett, completely lost in the sight of her. Scarlett glanced up at Y/N, her eyebrow arching slightly when she noticed Y/N's stopped hands and wide eyes. A smirk tugged at the corners of her lips as she walked up to her.

"You're going to leave your shirt half-buttoned like that?" Scarlett teased, her voice low enough that only Y/N could hear.

Y/N blushed slightly but couldn't form a coherent response. Scarlett stepped closer, pushing Y/N's hands away gently and finishing the job herself, her fingers grazing Y/N's chest as she buttoned the remaining buttons. The moment felt intimate—Scarlett was so close, her perfume subtly filling the space between them.

"There," Scarlett said once she finished. "Looking good." Then, without another word, she leaned in and kissed Y/N softly on the lips.

Y/N's heart raced, her mind momentarily blank, until a loud whistle snapped her out of her daze. She looked up to see Chris and Calie watching them, both grinning like they were witnessing something straight out of a rom-com.

"Alright, lovebirds, calm down," Calie said, tossing Y/N her leather jacket. "We've got a celebration to get to."

Chris chuckled, raising his hands in mock surrender. "Congrats again on the test results, ladies. You killed it."

"Thanks, man," Y/N said, still a little flustered from Scarlett's kiss but trying to regain her composure.

Scarlett, always the cool one, just smirked at the teasing. "Shall we get going then?" she asked, linking her arm with Y/N's as if it was the most natural thing in the world.

They all shared a few more jokes before heading out the door. Chris was driving, and as they piled into his car, the radio was playing upbeat music. The drive to the bar was lively, filled with conversation, laughter, and singing along to the radio.

"So, Y/N, what's it like dating a superstar?" Calie teased from the passenger seat, glancing back at Y/N.

Y/N chuckled, glancing at Scarlett beside her. "I wouldn't know. Scarlett's just... Scarlett to me."

Scarlett raised an eyebrow, giving Y/N a mock offended look. "Just Scarlett? Ouch."

Y/N grinned. "You know what I mean."

Chris, focusing on the road but clearly amused, added, "I don't know, Scarlett. Sounds like you're just a regular person now."

Scarlett laughed, shaking her head. "Yeah, I guess I'm losing my touch."

Y/N, smirking slightly, leaned over and kissed Scarlett's cheek. "You could never lose your touch."

Scarlett gave Y/N a sly smile in return, resting her hand on Y/N's thigh as they continued the playful banter.

By the time they arrived at the bar, everyone was in high spirits. Chris led them to a special VIP section, reserved for celebrities and their guests. The atmosphere inside the bar was electric—dim lights, music pulsing, and the low hum of conversations surrounding them. It felt exclusive but relaxed, like they were in their own little world.

They settled at a table, and Chris took the role of the unofficial bartender for the night. "Alright, what's everyone having?"

Y/N hesitated for a moment, unsure of what to order. But before she could say anything, Scarlett answered for her. "She'll have a whiskey sour."

Y/N blinked in surprise, but when she caught Scarlett's playful grin, she just shrugged. "Sounds good to me."

Scarlett winked at her and leaned in close, resting her head on Y/N's shoulder as the drinks were ordered. Every now and then, Scarlett would plant a soft kiss on Y/N's cheek or whisper something that made Y/N's heart flutter, all while they exchanged small flirtations.

"So," Chris began once they had their drinks in hand, "I've got this Halloween party planned at my place in a couple of weeks. It's going to be huge. Celebs, costumes, the works. You two should definitely come."

Calie's eyes lit up. "A Halloween party? Count me in!"

Y/N, however, seemed a bit more hesitant. She wasn't a fan of large crowds, especially ones filled with celebrities. "I don't know. I'm not really big on parties... or celebrities."

Chris and Scarlett both gasped dramatically, feigning offense. "Excuse me?" Scarlett teased. "You do realize you're talking to two of them right now, right?"

Y/N's cheeks turned a little pink, and she rubbed the back of her neck awkwardly. "Yeah, I didn't mean it like that..."

Chris laughed, waving a hand dismissively. "Don't worry about it. It's not going to be that crazy. Just a good time with some good people. Besides, we need you there."

Scarlett nudged Y/N gently. "Come on, it'll be fun. I'll be there to keep you company."

Y/N smiled softly, the idea becoming more appealing now that she imagined spending more time with Scarlett. "Alright, I'll think about it."

Calie grinned, leaning back in her seat. "This is going to be awesome. We need to plan our costumes."

"Oh, definitely," Scarlett said, her eyes gleaming with excitement. "We could go as a group or pair up."

Y/N's eyes flicked over to Scarlett. "Pair up, huh? Got any ideas?"

Scarlett smiled mischievously. "Oh, I've got plenty."

The night continued with easy conversation, drinks flowing, and playful banter. Scarlett and Y/N couldn't keep their hands off each other—little touches, stolen kisses, and quiet moments where the rest of the world seemed to fade away.

Chris and Calie sang along loudly to a song that played over the bar's speakers, drawing laughter from Y/N and Scarlett, who watched with amused smiles.

The atmosphere was perfect—a blend of celebration, flirtation, and joy. By the time the night began winding down, Y/N felt like she had never been so comfortable, so at ease with the people around her.

As they prepared to leave, Chris reminded them about the Halloween party one last time, and Y/N finally agreed to come. The night had been a success in every way, from their test results to the blossoming connection between her and Scarlett.
