Everyone sat in the choir room in shock—Artie the most shocked, gaping ahead as Brittany turned to him worriedly.
"All right, folks. Regionals is in a week. It's time to get deep into our set list," Mr. Schue announced, entering the choir room, but halting when he noticed Artie's panicked look.
"Artie? You okay?" he questioned.
"My life is over. How am I supposed to support a baby?" Artie blurted "How could you not tell me about this?" Artie asked, turning to Brittany, who looked at him guiltily.
"Wait, Brittany, are you pregnant?" Mr. Schue asked, concerned.
"Definitely," she nodded. "I'm so sorry, Artie. I didn't want to upset you. I thought I could surprise you when I dropped him off."
Rachel gave her a confused glance.
"I'm pretty sure it's a boy," Brittany added.
"Um, babies don't get dropped off," Puck said, eyebrows furrowed.
"Wait, Brittany, have you been to a doctor yet? That's the only way to be sure," Mr. Schue pointed out.
"I don't need to go to a doctor. I just need to look outside my window," Brittany explained with a small smile.
Melanie tilted her head, her confusion growing.
"Three days ago, a stork built its nest on top of my garage," Brittany continued.
Mercedes paused, holding up a finger, trying not to laugh at the ridiculousness of the situation.
"I'm not stupid. It's obviously getting ready to bring me my baby. I know where babies come from," Brittany finished confidently.
Rachel and Santana stared at her incredulously, while Sam shook his head.
"...Oh Brittany," Melanie sighed, disappointed, staring at the girl in disbelief.

"Sexy," Mr. Schue said, after writing it on the whiteboard.
"I really hope that's not one of the requirements for Regionals, because with Berry in those tights, we don't stand a chance," Santana quipped, earning an eye roll from Rachel.
"No, this isn't about Regionals. I'm less worried about that right now and more concerned about the fact that it's become clear to me that some of you have been lacking when it comes to, um, understanding the... the uh... intricacies of adult relationships..." Mr. Schue awkwardly explained, causing some sparse laughter.
"Yeah, anyway, along with preparing for Regionals next week, I want to spend the week educating ourselves about some of these intricacies," he announced.
"Is this the appropriate forum for that?" Rachel asked.
"Look, whenever we've had, uh, issues in the past that are on our minds or giving us problems, it's always helped us to sing about it. So this week, I've invited a special guest: Miss Holiday," he said, pointing toward her as she entered the choir room.
Everyone clapped excitedly.
"Hola, clase!" she greeted.
"Oh no, it's the Salad Lady," Mercedes muttered. Melanie turned to her with a confused glance, halting her clapping.
"Okay, so, sex... it's just like hugging, but wetter," Miss Holiday said.
"Yeah, it is," Artie agreed.
