"Well, we knew this year's theme for Nationals was 'Vintage,' so we figured we needed something old but with a lot of energy. So we thought: disco!" Blaine explained, his voice buzzing with excitedly.

Melanie nodded, "Plus, we didn't give Off the Wall any love during Michael Week, so..." She added, with a smile.

"Absolutely," Mr. Schue grinned. "I don't know if I ever told you guys this, but back when I was in Glee Club, we made it all the way to Nationals with the pure power of unadulterated disco." He turned to address the rest of the group, his grin widening as if reliving a fond memory.

"Um, well, there's only one problem with that idea," Puck interjected, arms crossed.

"And what's that?" Mr. Schue asked, furrowing his brows.

"Disco sucks!" Everyone, not on stage groaned in unison.

Melanie shot an offended pout in their direction. "I love disco," she muttered.
