"Give her some room! She needs space! Breathe, girl, breathe!" Unique shouted as they rushed Marley into the choir room, with Ryder and Jake carrying her in.

"Does anyone have anything she can eat?" Kitty asked, worriedly.

"I have some leftover Halloween candy in my locker," Tina offered quickly.

"I may have a juice box," Blaine said, rushing out of the room.

"I'll go get Marley's mom," Joe added, leaving after Blaine.

"This is bad. Never in the history of show choir competitions has anyone ever fainted," Artie said, his gaze fixed on Marley with concern as Jake and Ryder gently sat her down in a chair. Marley began to stir.

"We got the juice. We got the juice," Sam said, as Blaine tossed it to him. He quickly handed it to Melanie, who tried to offer it to Marley.

"No, I'm okay," Marley shook her head weakly.

"Drink the damn juice!" Kitty snapped, arms crossed tightly over her chest. She looked uncharacteristically concerned.

Melanie opened the juice box and inserted the straw, then handed it to Marley, who gave a small frown.

"Marley, please," Melanie urged gently. After a moment's hesitation, Marley slowly took the juice box.

"Marley, are you okay? What happened?" Finn asked, rushing in.

"She hasn't been eating. She's been skipping lunch," Jake explained, rubbing Marley's back.

"Is that because you've been telling her to? Trying to turn her into a damn rexy?" Santana asked, stepping up and glaring at Kitty, accusingly.

"What? No," Kitty stammered, taken aback. Melanie turned to her with a sharp glare, which, for once, made Kitty shrink back.

"Why would I want that?" Kitty asked, defensively.

"Because you're a crazy, evil bitch," Santana shot back, not missing a beat.

"Hey, Marley, you alright?" Mr. Schue asked, kneeling beside her.

"The nurse is on the way, Mr. Schue," Finn informed him.

"Santana, Puck, stay here with Marley. The rest of you, get back up there," Mr. Schue instructed. "Leaving the stage mid-competition, for any reason, risks immediate disqualification."

Melanie's eyes widened, snapping to Mr. Schue.

"What?! That—that's a rule?" Finn stammered.

"Yeah, it's a rule. One of the bylaws, actually," Coach Sue called out from the doorway, with a small grin. "As you all spiraled into a self-created K-hole of chaos, the judges, by unanimous vote, have declared the Warblers victorious. Congratulations, Finn Hudson. For the first time in its charmed, yet pitiful existence, the New Directions has lost Sectionals." She smirked. "But here's the good news. Christmas came early for one Sue Sylvester." With that, she walked off, leaving behind a stunned silence.

Everyone stood frozen, Marley burying her face in her hands as tears began to fall.

Melanie's breath caught in her throat, her chest tightening as her stomach dropped. She turned to Mr. Schue, her voice shaky but urgent. "We can fix this, right? We have to fix this."

"Melanie," Mr. Schue sighed, with a sad expression.

"No." Melanie shook her head, her eyes filling with tears. She rose to her feet, her breaths ragged. "This was an emergency. A member collapsed. It's a special circumstance. We have to get another chance! They have to give us another chance!"
