The next day at school, Seungcheol and Jeonghan walked in through the gates, hand in hand. The morning sun cast a warm glow over the courtyard, but all eyes were on them. Whispers filled the air, and heads turned as the school's most popular student and the "nobody" strode in together, their hands clasped like it was the most natural thing in the world.
Seungcheol felt a mix of nerves and exhilaration as his fingers intertwined with Jeonghan's. He was used to blending into the background, but now, with Jeonghan beside him, there was no hiding. He could feel the stares, the confusion, and even some judgment from his classmates. Still, the warmth of Jeonghan's hand in his kept him grounded.
Jeonghan, on the other hand, wore a calm smile. He wasn't bothered by the attention—they were used to it. But now, walking beside Seungcheol, it felt different. He was no longer just the popular pretty boy everyone admired. He was walking with someone who made him feel seen in a way he hadn't expected.
Mingyu and Seungkwan spotted them first from across the courtyard, their eyes widening in surprise. Mingyu raised an eyebrow, while Seungkwan's mouth hung open slightly in disbelief.
"Is that... are they holding hands?" Seungkwan whispered to Mingyu, unable to take his eyes off them.
"Looks like it," Mingyu replied, though there was a playful glint in his eye. He grinned and nudged Seungkwan. "Guess Jeonghan didn't tell us everything last night."
Seungkwan rolled his eyes, still processing the sight. "I mean, we knew something was going on, but this is... wow."
Jaehyun, who was standing nearby, clenched his fists as soon as he saw them. His eyes darkened with anger, and the mocking smirk he usually wore vanished. It was obvious that his jealousy was bubbling up again, but this time it wasn't just a rivalry—it was something more personal. Seungcheol had "stolen" Jeonghan, and Jaehyun couldn't handle it.
Meanwhile, Hansol and Dino watched the scene unfold from their usual spot near the lockers. Hansol nudged Dino, gesturing towards Seungcheol and Jeonghan. "Looks like things are moving fast."
Dino grinned. "About time. Seungcheol deserves to be happy."
As they made their way through the halls, Seungcheol felt a growing sense of ease. Jeonghan kept his chin up, unbothered by the attention, and it made Seungcheol feel more confident. The whispers didn't matter. The stares didn't matter. They were in this together.
"Hey, you okay?" Jeonghan asked quietly, glancing at Seungcheol with a reassuring smile.
Seungcheol nodded, squeezing his hand gently. "Yeah, I'm good. Just... new territory, you know?"
Jeonghan chuckled softly. "Well, you're with me now. We've got this."
And with that, they continued down the hallway, past the curious eyes and hushed voices, ready to face whatever the day—and the future—had in store for them. Together.

As the day went on, Seungkwan was making his way down the hallway, distracted by the latest gossip he'd heard about Jeonghan and Seungcheol. He was lost in thought when, suddenly—bam!—he collided with someone, causing his books to scatter on the floor.
"Ugh, not again!" Seungkwan groaned as he bent down to gather his things. He looked up and froze. Of course, it had to be Hansol. For the third time this week.
Hansol, as calm and nonchalant as ever, crouched down to help him pick up his books. "You really like bumping into me, don't you?" he teased, handing Seungkwan a notebook.
