It was the night before Christmas, and the air was filled with a quiet, festive excitement that buzzed through the house. The Christmas tree, glittering with lights and ornaments, stood proudly in the corner of the living room, casting a warm glow throughout the room. Snowflakes could be seen softly falling outside the window, a perfect scene for a family holiday.

Jeonghan was in the kitchen, preparing some last-minute treats for the family and making sure everything was set for tomorrow's celebrations. He hummed softly to himself, a Christmas carol playing quietly in the background. In the living room, Seungcheol was wrapping presents, his movements careful and precise. The wrapping paper crinkled with every fold, and he smiled as he thought about how happy his family would be in the morning.

Meanwhile, Seowon and Seunghee were in the middle of their own little Christmas tradition. Seunghee had insisted that they make a trap for Santa Claus, a plan she had been excited about for days. Seowon, though slightly skeptical, went along with her enthusiasm. They had gathered bits and pieces of materials from around the house: glitter, ribbons, cookies, and milk, of course. They worked together, giggling and whispering as they built their trap in the living room.

"Santa is going to be so surprised when he sees this!" Seunghee declared, eyes wide with excitement as she carefully arranged the cookies on a plate. She placed a small cup of milk next to it, along with a few glittery decorations around the plate. "And this is for his reindeer," she added, putting out a small pile of carrots in the corner of the room.

Seowon adjusted a string of lights around the cookies, his brow furrowed in concentration. "I think we need something else. Maybe a note to tell him where to find the carrots?"

Seunghee nodded eagerly. "Yes! Let's write a note!" The two of them quickly grabbed a piece of paper, and with Seunghee's careful handwriting, they wrote a note that read: "Dear Santa, we hope you enjoy the cookies! Please leave something for us under the tree! Love, Seunghee and Seowon."

Once the note was in place, Seunghee stood up, admiring their work. "Perfect! Now Santa will know we're ready for him." She looked at Seowon, her face filled with glee. "Do you think he'll leave us a gift?"

Seowon shrugged, trying to keep his cool, but even he couldn't hide the spark of excitement in his eyes. "I don't know, but I hope so." He glanced over at his dad, who was still wrapping presents, and then back at the trap. "Maybe we'll catch a glimpse of him too."

The two of them then decided to leave the room and head to bed, though neither of them could truly settle. The anticipation was too much. Their eyes kept flickering back to the trap they had set up, the hope that something magical might happen tonight making it hard to sleep.

Downstairs, Seungcheol and Jeonghan shared a quiet moment after the kids had gone to bed. They exchanged smiles as they looked at the decorations, the tree, and the warmth that filled the house. Their home was full, not just of presents, but of love. Seungcheol's heart swelled as he thought about how lucky they were to have everything they had, especially their children.

"It's going to be a good Christmas," Jeonghan said softly, leaning against Seungcheol as they stood by the tree. "I can't believe how much we've all grown."

Seungcheol wrapped an arm around Jeonghan's waist, pulling him close. "Yeah. It's incredible. Our little ones are getting so big." He chuckled softly. "Can you believe how excited they are for tomorrow?"

Jeonghan smiled. "It's the magic of Christmas. There's nothing quite like it when you see it through their eyes."

After a few more quiet moments, the two of them headed to bed, their hearts full, knowing that tomorrow would be filled with joy, laughter, and precious memories.
