Seokmin and Seungkwan were deep in planning mode for the upcoming school dance, heads close together as they discussed every detail. The school hadn't held a dance in ages, and they wanted it to be perfect.

"So, theme?" Seokmin said, tapping his notebook. "It's gotta be something classic but still fun, right?"

"Exactly!" Seungkwan nodded enthusiastically. "How about a 'Starlit Night' theme? We could have lights everywhere, twinkling like stars. And then a few lanterns for ambiance!"

"Oooh, love that!" Seokmin grinned, jotting it down. "And we'll definitely need some good music. Think we could put together a live band?"

"I think we could. Maybe we can even get Jihoon to play a song? I heard he's been practicing some new stuff in music club," Seungkwan suggested, eyes bright with the idea.

Seokmin beamed. "Perfect! Let's talk to him tomorrow. Now, what about refreshments? We've gotta have more than just punch. How about a dessert table?"

Seungkwan leaned back, deep in thought. "Definitely a dessert table. We could have mini cupcakes, maybe a chocolate fountain..."

"And churros! Everyone loves churros," Seokmin added excitedly.

They spent the next hour plotting out every detail, from decorations to music and food. They made lists, marked up seating plans, and even planned a little photo corner complete with props. With each idea, they grew more excited, envisioning everyone having an amazing time. The dance wasn't just going to be a night to remember—it was going to be the night that brought everyone together.

"Seungkwan," Seokmin said as they wrapped up, "this is gonna be the best dance the school's ever seen."

"Exactly!" Seungkwan agreed, smiling. "And we're going to make sure of it."

The next day, Seokmin and Seungkwan found Jihoon in the music room, practicing on his guitar. They approached him, brimming with excitement.

"Hey, Jihoon!" Seungkwan greeted. "We were just talking about the dance. We had this idea... Would you be up for playing live music that night? Just a few songs?"

Jihoon looked up, clearly surprised by the request, and hesitated. "Ah, about that... I actually can't," he said, a slight smile creeping onto his face.

Seokmin blinked in surprise. "Why not?"

Jihoon's cheeks turned a faint pink as he glanced away. "Because I... uh, actually have a date."

Seokmin's and Seungkwan's eyes went wide with excitement. "A date?" they said in unison.

Jihoon shifted, looking a bit embarrassed but undeniably happy. "Yeah... Soonyoung asked me. And I said yes."

Seungkwan clasped his hands together dramatically. "This is better than any performance you could give! Jihoon, you're going to have the best time!"

"Thanks, you two," Jihoon said, his slight grin growing. "I'm actually really looking forward to it."

With Jihoon unavailable and their live music plans falling through, Seokmin and Seungkwan sat slumped over their notebooks in the cafeteria, surrounded by empty coffee cups and half-eaten snacks. Their checklist for the dance was filled with crossed-out options, and the live music slot, which they'd thought was secured with Jihoon, now had a glaring question mark.

Seungkwan exhaled deeply. "Alright, options. Who else do we know that could handle music? Or, I don't know, can anyone here sing?"

Seokmin shook his head, resting his chin in his hands. "I just don't get it. It feels like everyone around us is either busy or... too wrapped up in their own love lives to care about a school dance!"
