Jeonghan had been nervous the whole day. Meeting parents was always a big step, but this felt even bigger since it was his parents and Seungcheol who would be meeting them. His relationship with Seungcheol had blossomed into something meaningful, and he wanted everything to go smoothly.

Instead of heading to Jeonghan's dorm after school, the two of them decided to visit Jeonghan's family home for the first time. As they approached the modest but elegant house, Seungcheol couldn't help but feel a little anxious too. Meeting Jeonghan's parents was a huge deal—he wanted to make a good impression.

"They're going to love you," Jeonghan reassured him, noticing the slight tension in Seungcheol's face. He reached over and took Seungcheol's hand, squeezing it gently.

"I hope so," Seungcheol murmured, glancing at Jeonghan. "What are they like?"

Jeonghan chuckled softly. "My mom's super sweet, and my dad... well, he's a bit strict, but he's just protective. Don't worry. Just be yourself."

As they approached the front door, Jeonghan took a deep breath and knocked, his hand still firmly holding Seungcheol's. A few moments later, the door opened to reveal Jeonghan's mother, her face lighting up at the sight of her son.

"Jeonghan!" she exclaimed, pulling him into a warm hug. "You finally made it! And this must be Seungcheol."

Seungcheol smiled politely, bowing as a sign of respect. "Yes, ma'am. It's nice to meet you."

Jeonghan's mother smiled warmly, her eyes softening as she took in the sight of the two boys. "Oh, none of that 'ma'am' business. You can call me Mrs. Yoon. Come in, come in!"

As they entered the house, Seungcheol immediately noticed how cozy it felt. The living room was filled with family photos and soft lighting, creating an inviting atmosphere. It felt like the kind of home where laughter and memories lived.

Jeonghan's father soon emerged from the hallway, his expression more reserved but still welcoming. "Jeonghan," he said with a nod before turning his attention to Seungcheol. "You must be the one we've heard so much about."

Seungcheol bowed again. "Yes, sir. I'm Seungcheol. It's an honor to meet you."

Jeonghan's dad studied him for a moment, his eyes scanning him with a slight intensity before he nodded in approval. "Well, come sit. We've made dinner."

As they sat down around the dining table, the conversation flowed naturally, with Jeonghan's mother asking about school and Seungcheol's interests. To Seungcheol's relief, Jeonghan's mom was incredibly kind, laughing and making small jokes to lighten the mood. Even Jeonghan's father, who was initially more serious, seemed to warm up over time.

"So, Seungcheol," Jeonghan's dad began, taking a sip of his tea, "I hear you're into computer science."

Seungcheol nodded, sitting up a little straighter. "Yes, sir. I'm in the coding club at school. I actually want to pursue software engineering after I graduate."

Jeonghan's father nodded, seeming to approve of his ambition. "That's a good field. Smart choice."

Jeonghan, sensing the tension ease, gave Seungcheol an encouraging smile from across the table. The conversation carried on, shifting from academics to their shared love of music and hobbies. Jeonghan's parents were pleasantly surprised to learn how much Seungcheol cared for their son and how thoughtful he was in everything he did.

After dinner, as they sat in the living room with cups of tea, Jeonghan's mother leaned over to him, smiling gently. "You two make a sweet couple," she said softly, just loud enough for Seungcheol to hear. "It's nice to see you so happy, Jeonghan."
