The following week, excitement buzzed through the halls as students gathered around the bulletin board where the results of the choir club auditions were posted. Jeonghan's heart raced as he approached, his nerves on edge. He could hear the murmurs of anticipation, the whispers of people eager to see if their names had made the list.
Seungcheol stood by his side, offering silent support, his presence calming Jeonghan's frayed nerves. "You've got this," Seungcheol said with a reassuring smile. "I already know you made it."
Jeonghan bit his lip, unsure, but took a deep breath before pushing through the crowd to see the results. His eyes scanned the list, heart pounding in his chest. He spotted his name near the top, bold and clear:
Yoon Jeonghan — Accepted
A rush of relief and excitement flooded him all at once. He couldn't help the wide smile that spread across his face as he turned back to Seungcheol, who was already grinning like a proud boyfriend.
"I did it!" Jeonghan exclaimed, barely able to contain his excitement.
Seungcheol pulled him into a hug, lifting him off the ground slightly. "I knew it! I'm so proud of you, angel."
Jeonghan laughed, feeling lighter than he had in days. "It feels unreal. I can't believe I'm actually in the choir!"
"Well, you deserve it. Your voice is amazing, Jeonghan. Everyone's going to love hearing you sing," Seungcheol said, his eyes full of admiration.
As they broke apart, Mingyu and Seungkwan rushed over, both of them grinning from ear to ear. "I knew you'd make it, Jeonghan! We were all rooting for you," Seungkwan said, giving him a high five.
Mingyu added, "You better give us a private concert after your first rehearsal."
Jeonghan laughed, still riding the high of the moment. "I'll think about it!"
Seungcheol wrapped an arm around Jeonghan's shoulders. "Let's celebrate later. This is just the beginning for you."
Jeonghan nodded, feeling overwhelmed with gratitude for his friends and for Seungcheol. As the excitement of the day swirled around them, he couldn't help but feel like everything was falling into place.

Later that day, Seungkwan found himself sitting in the waiting room of the theater club, nervously tapping his foot against the tiled floor. It was audition day, and the tension in the room was thick, with other hopefuls quietly going over their monologues and lines. Seungkwan took a deep breath, trying to calm his nerves, though excitement fluttered in his chest.
He was going through his lines in his head when the door opened, and in walked Hansol. Seungkwan's heart skipped a beat. They hadn't really talked since their last awkward encounter, but there was always something about Hansol that made him feel... different.
Hansol spotted Seungkwan almost immediately and made his way over, a friendly smile on his face. "Hey," he greeted, sliding into the seat next to him. "You're here for the audition too?"
Seungkwan nodded, swallowing the sudden lump in his throat. "Yeah. I didn't know you were into theater."
Hansol chuckled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "I'm not really, but I thought I'd give it a shot. I figure if I embarrass myself, at least I'll have fun doing it."
Seungkwan couldn't help but smile at his carefree attitude. "That's one way to look at it. I'm kind of terrified, to be honest."
"You'll do great," Hansol said, nudging Seungkwan's shoulder lightly. "You've got that big personality. Theater suits you."
