The morning light streamed into the family's cozy home as Jeonghan stood in front of their bedroom mirror, meticulously inspecting a selection of suits laid out on the bed. Mingyu and Wonwoo's wedding was just a day away, and it was shaping up to be an extravagant affair. With Mingyu's flair for drama and Wonwoo's love for understated elegance, the event promised to be both grand and timeless.
Jeonghan sighed as he adjusted the lapel of a sleek black suit. "I don't know, Cheol," he mused, glancing at his husband, who was sitting on the floor with Seowon perched on his knee. "Is this too plain? Should I go for something more colorful?"
Seungcheol looked up from the toddler in his lap, who was busy chewing on a plastic toy. "You look amazing in anything, Hannie. But if you're asking, I think something in navy or burgundy would stand out more against the black-tie crowd."
Jeonghan nodded thoughtfully and turned back to the bed, picking up a deep navy suit with a velvet finish. He ran his fingers over the material and smiled. "This one, then. It's bold but classy."
"That's the one," Seungcheol agreed, bouncing Seowon gently on his knee. "Now the question is—what are we putting these two troublemakers in?"
Jeonghan laughed, glancing at the two outfits he'd already set aside for their sons. Sumin's little tuxedo had a satin bow tie, while Seowon's miniature suit featured suspenders to match. "Oh, they're going to steal the show, guaranteed. Mingyu will cry if they upstage him."
Sumin came bounding into the room, holding his favorite stuffed giraffe. "Appa, is this my suit?!" he asked, pointing at the tiny tuxedo.
"It is," Jeonghan said, crouching down to meet him. "Do you like it?"
Sumin's eyes sparkled as he nodded. "I'm gonna look so handsome, like Daddy!"
Seungcheol beamed. "You'll look even more handsome, buddy. You're going to be the coolest kid at the wedding."
As they finalized the family outfits, Jeonghan took a moment to sit down and scroll through the invitation details on his phone. The venue was a luxurious garden estate just outside the city, complete with sprawling lawns, crystal chandeliers, and a five-course dinner. Mingyu had spared no expense in ensuring every detail was perfect.
Later in the day, Jeonghan packed their essentials for the event: snacks and toys to keep the kids occupied, extra clothes for any emergencies, and, of course, the wedding gift—a hand-painted portrait of Mingyu and Wonwoo that Jeonghan had commissioned from a renowned artist.
Seungcheol peeked over his shoulder as Jeonghan wrapped the gift. "That's incredible. They're going to love it."
"They better," Jeonghan said with a playful smirk. "It wasn't cheap, but it's worth it for them."
The house buzzed with energy as the day wore on. Sumin insisted on "practicing" his dancing, twirling around the living room with his giraffe, while Seowon giggled from his baby walker. Seungcheol kept the boys entertained while Jeonghan double-checked every detail of their preparations.
As night fell, Jeonghan flopped onto the couch, exhausted but satisfied. "Okay, I think we're ready for tomorrow. I just hope Mingyu doesn't freak out if something goes slightly off-plan."
"He'll be fine," Seungcheol assured him, sitting beside him and wrapping an arm around his shoulder. "And if not, Wonwoo will keep him in check."
Jeonghan chuckled, leaning into Seungcheol's side. "True. They balance each other so well. Just like us."
Seungcheol kissed the top of his head. "Exactly. Now, let's get some rest. Tomorrow's going to be a big day—for them and for us."
