The morning light filtered softly through the curtains, casting a warm glow in the room. Jeonghan stirred, stretching lazily beneath the covers. The peacefulness of the moment was interrupted by the sound of water running in the bathroom. He smiled to himself, recognizing the familiar sound of Seungcheol taking a shower.

With a content sigh, Jeonghan propped himself up on one elbow, glancing at the clock on his bedside table. He'd slept surprisingly well, and the warmth from the blanket made it hard to leave its embrace. But the thought of Seungcheol in the shower, likely singing off-key to his favorite songs, pulled him from the comfort of his bed.

Deciding to join in on the morning's cheer, Jeonghan padded quietly to the bathroom door, leaning against the frame. He could hear Seungcheol's voice floating through the steam, belting out a chorus of a popular song, completely unaware of his audience.

Unable to resist, Jeonghan chuckled softly, crossing his arms and leaning against the doorframe. "Are you trying out for a solo in the choir, or is that your shower concert?" he called playfully.

Seungcheol's voice abruptly stopped, followed by the sound of water splashing. "Uh, oh! I didn't know you were awake!" he replied, his tone a mix of surprise and embarrassment. "I thought I was alone!"

Jeonghan laughed, pushing himself off the frame and stepping into the bathroom doorway. "Well, you know what they say about singing in the shower. It's the best audience you'll ever have."

"Yeah, well, I think my audience just woke up," Seungcheol teased back, a hint of a smile evident in his voice. "Now I'm really nervous!"

"Don't be," Jeonghan said, leaning casually against the wall, unable to hide his grin. "You have a great voice—at least when you're not trying to be funny."

Seungcheol let out a laugh that echoed off the bathroom tiles. "Thanks, I guess? I'll take that as a compliment."

Jeonghan's heart swelled at the sound of Seungcheol's laughter, the warmth and comfort of their banter filling the air. "How about I make us breakfast while you finish up? I could use some pancakes right about now."

"That sounds amazing! Just give me a minute!" Seungcheol replied, and the sound of water resumed, accompanied by a few more notes of the song.

Jeonghan smiled to himself, feeling a rush of happiness. He turned and headed to the kitchen, thinking about how lucky he felt to have moments like this with Seungcheol—simple yet precious.

As he began gathering ingredients, he could hear Seungcheol humming to himself in the shower, and a soft chuckle escaped his lips. Maybe this morning wouldn't just be about pancakes; it would be about creating more memories that would linger long after the day was over.

After a few moments of stirring batter and flipping pancakes, Jeonghan heard the water stop running. He glanced toward the bathroom, anticipation bubbling within him as he imagined what Seungcheol might look like once he stepped out.

A few seconds later, the bathroom door swung open, and there stood Seungcheol, a fluffy towel wrapped snugly around his waist, droplets of water still clinging to his skin. His hair was damp, sticking up in various directions, and a relaxed, carefree smile spread across his face.

Jeonghan's breath caught in his throat for a moment. Seungcheol looked effortlessly handsome, and the sight of him like this sent a rush of warmth through Jeonghan's cheeks. "Uh... wow," he stammered, trying to regain his composure. "You, um, clean up nicely."

"Thanks! I try," Seungcheol replied, clearly amused by Jeonghan's reaction. He sauntered into the kitchen, his towel swaying slightly, and opened the fridge. "What's for breakfast?"
