Niall's Point Of View

Today is the day before my fiancée turns 22 years old. I was sitting in my flat, planning the perfect day for the perfect girl and dreaming about our life together forever. I was writing down ideas until I heard a knock on the door. When I opened it, there stood Danielle, who was 22 weeks pregnant with a baby boy due on January 21, 2016.

"Hey, Dani! What are you doing here?" I asked, surprised but happy to see her.

"Hey, Niall!" she replied, her face lighting up with a smile. "I just thought I'd check in on you. How's the birthday planning going?"

I shrugged, leaning against the doorframe. "It's coming together! I want to make it really special for Sophie, but I could use some extra ideas."

Danielle stepped inside, her hand resting protectively on her belly. "I've got you covered! What do you have so far?"

I led her to the living room, where I had a notepad filled with scribbled ideas. "Well, I thought we could start with breakfast at her favorite café, maybe a picnic in the park later, and I was thinking about a small surprise party with some of her friends."

Danielle nodded enthusiastically. "Those sound great! You know how much she loves the outdoors. A picnic is a brilliant idea! Have you thought about what kind of gift you want to get her?"

I sighed, running a hand through my hair. "I'm still figuring that out. I want it to be something meaningful, but I'm not quite sure yet."

Danielle smiled knowingly. "How about a piece of jewelry? Something that represents your journey together? You could even get something engraved."

"That's a fantastic idea!" I replied, feeling inspired. "I'll look into that. Thanks, Dani!"

"Anytime! I'm excited for Sophie's birthday. It's such a special time for both of you," she said, her voice warm.

I glanced at her, remembering the excitement and anticipation of her own journey into motherhood. "Yeah, it really is. And hey, how are you feeling? Are you ready for the little guy?"

Danielle placed a hand on her belly, a soft smile on her face. "I am! It's a little overwhelming, but I can't wait to meet him. Louis and I are so excited."

"Just remember, if you need any help, I'm here. I can be the cool uncle!" I grinned, feeling a rush of affection for my future family.

"Of course! You'll be the best uncle, I know it," she laughed.

We chatted a bit more about Sophie and the baby, both of us feeling the warmth of family and love surrounding us. As Danielle left, I felt more inspired than ever to make tomorrow special for Sophie.

With a renewed sense of purpose, I returned to my planning, knowing that the perfect day was just around the corner.

After Danielle left, I took a moment to gather my thoughts. The sun was starting to set, casting a warm glow across my flat. I grabbed my phone and began scrolling through some jewelry stores, searching for the perfect gift for Sophie. My heart raced at the thought of her reaction when she saw it.

I paused, thinking back to all the memories we had created together over the past four years—the laughter, the late-night talks, and the way her eyes lit up every time I surprised her. I wanted this birthday to be just as special.

As I browsed through the online selections, I came across a beautiful necklace—delicate and simple, with a tiny charm that represented love and eternity. It was perfect.
