As Niall and I sat on the couch surrounded by wedding magazines and color swatches, the excitement in the air was palpable. "I can't believe it's almost here," I said, glancing at the calendar. "Just a few more weeks until our wedding on June 10th, 2016. It feels like we've been waiting forever!"
Niall smiled, his blue eyes sparkling with joy. "And tomorrow marks five years since we started dating and a whole year since I proposed. Time really flies, doesn't it?" He reached over, taking my hand in his, and I could feel the warmth of his touch.
"Yeah, it really does," I replied, my heart swelling with love for him. "I remember that day like it was yesterday. You were so nervous!"
Niall chuckled, shaking his head. "You have no idea. I wanted everything to be perfect for you. And now we're planning our wedding together—it's a dream come true."
As we flipped through the magazines, I could see Niall getting more and more excited about the details. "What do you think about having a floral arch at the ceremony?" he asked, pointing to a picture of a beautiful arrangement.
"I love that idea!" I exclaimed. "It'll add such a romantic touch. And what about the reception? I was thinking we could do a vintage theme with fairy lights."
Niall nodded enthusiastically. "Absolutely! Just imagine everyone dancing under those lights. It's going to be magical."
As we continued to plan, I couldn't help but feel a rush of gratitude for everything we had built together over the past five years. I knew that no matter what happened, our love would always be the foundation of our journey together. And tomorrow, as we celebrated our milestone, I couldn't wait to reflect on how far we had come and all the incredible moments still ahead of us.
"Okay, let's finalize the seating chart and figure out who we want in our bridal party," Niall said, pulling out a notebook.
"Sounds good," I replied, excitement bubbling inside me. "I can't wait to celebrate our love with everyone we care about."
With a renewed sense of purpose, we dove into the details, ready to make our dream wedding a reality. All sudden we hear a knock on the door and Niall got up and said "I'll get it," he said. When he opened the door, we saw a very upset Maya, who was four weeks pregnant.
"Hey, Maya, what's going on?" I asked, concerned.
"I don't feel pretty," she replied, her voice shaky.
"Nonsense! You always look pretty," I reassured her, but it was clear she needed more support.
Niall stepped aside, and I gestured for her to come in. "Let's call Liam," I suggested. "He can help cheer you up!"
Niall grabbed his phone, and within moments, Liam was on the line. "Hey, Maya's here and feeling down. Can you come over?"
"Of course! I'll be there in a few minutes," Liam responded, his voice brightening the mood.
As we waited for him, I hoped Maya would feel better soon.
As we waited for Liam to arrive, I could see Maya's expression shift from despair to a hint of hope. Niall wrapped an arm around her shoulders, giving her a comforting squeeze. "You know Liam's going to make you laugh," he said, trying to lighten the mood.
A few minutes later, there was another knock on the door. This time, it was Liam, looking cheerful as ever. "Hey, beautiful!" he greeted Maya with a warm smile, making her blush a little.
