Katherine's Point of View

Today is the day I get married to the love of my life, Harry Styles. The excitement is palpable in the room, but I can't shake the nerves coursing through me. The girls gathered around me are my support system: Millie, my brother Austin's girlfriend; my two friends, Layla and Maya; and my older sisters, Sophie, who is currently 11 months pregnant with her and Niall's first child, and Danielle.

My mom, Linda, is bustling about, making sure everything is perfect, while Harry's mom, Anne, helps keep spirits high. Harry's older sister, Gemma, is doing my makeup, and our flower girl, Lou Teasdale—who was One Direction's hairstylist before they took a break—is busy styling my hair. Lux, Lou's adorable 5-year-old daughter, is twirling around, radiating joy.

As Lou secures my hair with a final touch, I take a deep breath. "I can't believe today is actually happening," I say, trying to calm my racing heart.

"Believe it!" Lou replies with a grin. "You're going to look absolutely stunning. Harry won't be able to take his eyes off you."

Gemma adds, "Just remember, Katherine, this is your day. You're marrying your best friend. Nothing else matters."

I glance at the mirror, feeling a wave of insecurity wash over me. "I'm really scared, though," I admit, my voice barely above a whisper. "I've been insecure about my body since I was 14. What if I don't look good enough?"

Sophie, sitting beside me, takes my hand. "You are beautiful just the way you are. Harry loves you for who you are, not how you look. Just focus on the love you're celebrating today."

Danielle nods, adjusting her own dress. "Exactly! No one is going to notice anything but your happiness when you walk down that aisle."

Layla chimes in, "And think about how strong you are. You've come so far, and today is a celebration of that!"

Maya adds, "Plus, you have the best support crew around you. Look at us! We're here for you."

I smile, feeling a warmth spread through me. "Thank you, everyone. It means so much to have you all here."

I glance at the empty spot where my younger sister, Sarah, should be. She's currently in the hospital, fighting leukemia for the second time. "I just wish Sarah could be here," I say, my voice trembling.

Millie holds up a picture of Sarah in a bridesmaid's dress from Sophie's wedding in June 2016. "We may not have her here physically, but we can keep her spirit with us," she says softly. "She'll be with you in every moment today."

"Let's dedicate a moment to her during the ceremony," I suggest, my heart swelling with emotion.

With all the love and support surrounding me, I start to feel a renewed sense of strength. Today isn't just about the wedding; it's about the love, family, and the bonds that hold us together.

"Okay, ladies," I say, my excitement bubbling up. "Let's do this! I'm ready to marry Harry!"
