Sophie's Point of View

Tomorrow is our fifth wedding anniversary! I can't believe it's been five years since Niall and I said, "I do." Right now, we're in Bora Bora to celebrate, and it feels surreal to be back here. The same beautiful turquoise water, the same warm island breeze—it's like we never left. But this time, there's one big difference: back home in London, my parents, Linda and Michael, are watching our two little girls, Sarah, who's three, and Camryn, who just turned one. I know they're in good hands with Mimi and Pops, and I hope they're having the best time.

"Five years already," I say, leaning against the balcony railing as Niall joins me, slipping his arm around my waist.

He nods with a soft smile, his gaze fixed on the horizon. "Feels like just yesterday we were here on our honeymoon."

"June 10th, 2016..." I muse, reminiscing. "We flew out the day after the wedding and spent a whole week here, just you and me. Remember?"

Niall chuckles, shaking his head. "How could I forget? And then we headed straight to Ireland. I still remember how knackered we were from all that traveling."

I laugh, resting my head against his shoulder. "And yet, here we are again, still loving every moment. Just like then."

He pulls me closer, a playful smirk on his face. "Well, Mrs. Horan, think you're up for a little anniversary dinner tomorrow night? Maybe even some dancing?"

I grin. "Only if you promise not to step on my toes this time."

"Oh, so that's how it is?" he teases, nudging me gently. "Throwing insults now? Watch out, Sophie Horan, or I might just leave you to fend for yourself on that dance floor."

I laugh, rolling my eyes. "As if you'd ever leave me hanging."

He pretends to look hurt. "Oi! I'm a much better dancer than you give me credit for."

I raise an eyebrow, clearly unconvinced. "Sure you are, Mr. Horan. Sure you are."

Niall laughs and plants a kiss on my forehead. "We'll see who's laughing tomorrow night, then. Today, though, I say we take it easy. We did just fly in yesterday, and we're both pretty knackered."

I sigh happily, sinking into his embrace. "Sounds perfect. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else."

He glances down, a mischievous glint in his eye. "Not even back with the kids?"

I smile, thinking of Sarah and Camryn. "Okay, maybe I miss them a little."

He grins. "Me too. But for now, let's just enjoy this."

And for that moment, everything feels so simple and perfect.
After dinner, we return to our bungalow, and as we settle in, Niall pulls out his phone. "Shall we check in on our little munchkins?" he asks with a smile, already pulling up the FaceTime app.

I nod eagerly, and within moments, my mom's face fills the screen. "There you two are!" she exclaims, her voice a blend of cheer and relief. "How's paradise?"

I laugh softly. "Even better knowing they're with you, Mum I can see Sarah's little face peeking into the frame, her eyes lighting up as soon as she spots us.

"Mummy! Daddy!" Sarah squeals, pressing her face close to the camera. "Mimi made us pancakes this morning, and I helped!"

"Oh, did you, love?" Niall says with an amused grin. "Bet you're a master chef by now."
