Sophie's Point Of View

Tomorrow is such a special day for me and my husband, Niall. I'm lying down for a nap, feeling a little more tired these days since I'm 31 weeks pregnant with our baby girl, due on April 29, 2018. Meanwhile, Niall is down the hall, working hard in our studio room.

As I drift off, I remember our journey together. Tomorrow will be our seven-year anniversary since he first asked me to be his girlfriend back in 2011, and three years since he proposed.

I smile to myself, recalling that moment:

"Niall," I whisper to myself, eyes closed, "can you believe it's been seven years since you asked me out?"

As if he heard me, I hear his footsteps in the hall. He pokes his head into the room, grinning. "Seven years, huh? Think I'm gonna keep you around a little longer, Soph."

"Just a little?" I tease, eyes still closed but smiling.

He laughs, coming closer to kiss my forehead. "Maybe forever."

I hold his hand to my belly, where our little girl gives the tiniest kick, like she's part of the celebration too.

Niall feels the kick and laughs softly, his fingers brushing over my belly.

"She's already making her presence known, huh?" he says, his voice full of wonder.

I open my eyes to look at him, catching the warm glow in his gaze. "She is. Our little girl's reminding us that she's already a part of everything we do."

Niall's face softens, and he gives my hand a gentle squeeze. "I can't wait to meet her, Soph. And to watch her grow up. But I'll be honest," he chuckles, "I'm a little terrified too."

I smile, reaching up to brush a strand of hair from his forehead. "We'll figure it all out together. Just like we always have."

He sits beside me on the bed, leaning down to rest his head next to mine. We stay like that for a moment, wrapped in the quiet peace of the room, both of us thinking about how far we've come.

After a minute, he turns to me, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "You know... I could've made you my girlfriend sooner if I'd known we'd end up here."

I laugh, nudging him gently. "You took your time, Horan. But it was worth the wait."

He grins, pulling me close. "Tomorrow, let's make it a day just for us. Dinner, dancing... maybe even a little music."

I raise an eyebrow. "Are you saying we're going to have a private concert, courtesy of Niall Horan?"

"Maybe," he says with a wink. "But only if you're lucky.

Niall feels the kick and laughs softly, his fingers brushing over my belly.
