Sophie's Point Of View

As I sat in the softly lit nursery, the gentle sounds of Sarah's breathing filled the air. One month had flown by since she made her grand entrance into our lives, and every day with her had been a beautiful whirlwind of love, sleepless nights, and discovery. I watched her tiny chest rise and fall, marveling at the miracle that was my daughter.

The sunlight streamed through the window, casting warm patterns on the floor, and I couldn't help but smile as I thought about what tomorrow would bring. Niall and I were about to celebrate our two-year wedding anniversary, and I wanted everything to be perfect. After all, this day marked not just the continuation of our love story but also the beginning of a new chapter as parents.

Niall was downstairs, probably trying to finish up a new track. I knew how much he loved working on music, but I also worried that he was pushing himself too hard. Balancing fatherhood and his passion for music was no small feat, especially with a newborn. I decided to sneak downstairs, cradling Sarah gently in my arms, the soft blanket wrapping around her as I walked.

As I reached the bottom of the stairs, I could hear Niall's voice mingling with the soft strum of his guitar. The sound was comforting and familiar, reminding me of all the evenings we spent together, just the two of us, lost in music and laughter. I paused for a moment, listening, letting the music wash over me.

"Hey, love," eNiall said when he spotted me, a smile breaking across his face. "Is that my little princess?"

I felt my heart swell with happiness. "I thought she could use a visit to the studio. Besides, I miss you," I replied, handing Sarah to him.

He took her carefully, his hands cradling her head with the utmost tenderness. The sight of him with our daughter always made me feel a rush of love. I watched as he gently bounced her in his arms, his face lighting up as she cooed softly. "Look at you, Sarah! You've got my hair," he teased, laughing as he tousled his own messy locks.

After a few moments of bonding, Niall set Sarah back in her stroller, and we both settled onto the sofa. "What do you want to do tomorrow for our anniversary?" I asked, feeling a mix of excitement and nostalgia.

"I was thinking we could have a little picnic in the park. Just the three of us. I could make some sandwiches, and we can take Sarah out for her first little adventure," he suggested, his eyes sparkling with enthusiasm.

I loved the idea. It felt intimate and special, just like our relationship. "That sounds perfect," I agreed. "I'll make some cupcakes to bring along. It's a celebration, after all!"

Niall grinned, his eyes softening as he gazed at me. "I can't believe it's been two years already. Seems like just yesterday we were saying 'I do' and dancing the night away."

"Now look at us—parents and everything," I chuckled, shaking my head in disbelief. "It's been an amazing journey, though, hasn't it?"

"It really has. And I wouldn't change a thing," he replied, reaching for my hand and intertwining our fingers.

We sat in a comfortable silence for a moment, watching Sarah as she began to stir, her tiny fingers curling and uncurling. Niall leaned in closer, and I could feel his warmth beside me. "You know," he said softly, "we've built a beautiful life together. I can't wait to see what the future holds for us, for Sarah."

I nodded, feeling the weight of his words. It was in moments like these, with the three of us together, that I truly felt complete. "Tomorrow is just the beginning of many more anniversaries to come."
