Niall's Point of View

Tomorrow marks a very special day: Sophie's 29th birthday. I can't believe how quickly the years have flown by. It feels like just yesterday when we were getting married, and now we're about to welcome our third baby. Our little boy is due on my 29th birthday. I keep thinking how incredible it is that we'll share this milestone, a birthday we'll both celebrate together.

But today, I'm focusing on Sophie—my love, the heart of our family. Right now, I've taken our daughters, Sarah and Camryn, to the park. It's just the three of us for the afternoon, so Sophie can rest. I know she's been feeling the strain lately, especially with the pregnancy. Being 21 weeks along, she's been dealing with back pain, and I can tell it's starting to take its toll.

"Daddy, look at me!" Sarah shouts, running toward the swings with her pigtails bouncing.

I smile and push her gently. "You're getting really high there, Sarah! Be careful."

She laughs, her voice filled with joy. "I'm a bird, Daddy! Look at me fly!"

I glance over at Camryn, who's toddling around nearby, giggling as she picks up a handful of grass. Her big brown eyes are wide with curiosity.

"Camryn, what do you have there, sweetheart?" I ask, crouching down to her level.

"Grash," she says, holding it up proudly.

I chuckle. "Grass, huh? You're going to make Mommy proud with that little gift, aren't you?"

She grins and hands it to me. I take it gently and place it beside her as she clutches my hand, looking up at me with that sweet, innocent expression.

As I push Sarah on the swing, I find myself thinking about Sophie again. She's been such a trooper through this pregnancy. Juggling two little ones while carrying our third child, I know it's been tough for her. That's why I wanted to give her this time to rest.

"Can I have some water, Daddy?" Sarah asks, her face flushed from the swing ride.

"Of course, sweetheart." I pull out the water bottles from the bag I packed. "Here you go, Camryn. Want some, too?"

Camryn nods and takes the bottle in both hands, slurping away. I can't help but smile at how grown up she seems.

After a while, I gather them up. "Alright, girls, I think it's time to head back. Mommy's waiting for us at home."

Sarah's eyes light up. "Mommy! She's gonna love the surprise, right, Daddy?"

I nod, bending down to scoop her up in my arms. "She sure is. We've got a little surprise planned for her tomorrow, don't we?"

"I can't wait to give her my drawing!" Sarah says, her face lighting up with excitement.

"That's the best present she could get," I reply, smiling at how thoughtful she is.

As we make our way back home, I feel a deep sense of gratitude for the family we've built. I'm so proud of Sophie and everything she's done for us. She's not only a wonderful wife, but an incredible mother. And tomorrow, on her birthday, I plan to show her just how much she means to me.

Sophie deserves all the love in the world.

When we get home, Sophie is resting on the couch, her feet up, looking peaceful. She glances up as we walk in, a soft smile spreading across her face as she sees the girls.

"Mummy, we have something for you!" Sarah announces, running over to the couch with Camryn trailing behind her, holding her little drawing proudly.
