As she lay on the ground, enveloped in his arms and nestled between his legs, Aenyra closed her eyes, in that moment she couldn't help but smile with happiness, this was everything....HE was everything. Yet she understood they needed to talk about everything that had transpired and determine what their next step would be.

"Aemond, what are we going to do?" She asked hesitantly, "my mother has rejected the marriage alliance, War is looming at our door step!"

"You're right." Aemond replied, his mind racing as he searched for solutions to bridge the chasm between their families, yet deep down he knew it was useless. Aegon usurped his sister's throne whether he wanted it or not and Aenyra was right— war was coming, he could feel it approaching. "We should just leave."

Aenyra's eyes widened in disbelief at his suggestion. "Leave? Aemond, you can't be serious, the throne is rightfully my mother's, as it is mine after that! I refuse to sit back and watch it be stolen and by all people your brother!"

"He didn't want it, you know." Aemond said softly into her ear.

"Yeah, I know."

"He practically begged me escape to a place where no one could find him. I would've agreed were it not for Cole finding us before that plan went into action."

The pair sat in silence for a moment, Aemonds fingers gently tracing shapes under her breast and down to the dip of her stomach.
Leaning  closer, he placed a tender kiss on her shoulder where it met her neck. Aenyra leaned into his touch, leaning her head back onto his chest. "Let's just get married." Aemond said causing  Aenyra to quickly turn her head locking eyes with him. He was serious.

"Hear me out," he continued "if we get married, even without anyone's approval, they'll eventually have to accept.  Aegon wouldn't dare go against us— not if he wanted to keep his head. With him as king no one else would have a say.

"You really think it would be that easy, nothing ever seems to go our way if you hadn't noticed. I mean, I know Aegon would support us, and since he has no desire to be king I could probably get him and my mother to negotiate terms for her to reclaim her throne."

Aemond nodded silently, lost in thought on how all this might unfold.

Finally breaking away from his warmth Aenyra stood up, going to dust off the sand that stuck to parts of her body. Suddenly she began feeling dizzy, her eyes getting blurry as her body swayed a little. Aemond noticed her sudden dizzy spell and quickly stood to aid her, wrapping an arm around her waist and one on her armto make sure she didn't fall.

"Aenyra, are you okay?"  Aemond asked with concern written all over his face.

"Yeah, I think I stood up too fast." Aenyra replied, shaking her head gently to try and get her vision to stop blurring. Her legs feeling unsteady.

Putting her hand on his shoulder she turned her body to face him, Aemond didn't hesitate to scoop her up and sat her on a nearby rock, he quickly gathered her closed and helped her dress.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Aemond asked, with a serious expression.

"Cupping his face with her hand she gave him a reassuring smile "Yes, my love I'm okay, I just stood up to fast and I've not been eating so much due to the stress of everything."

Aemond narrowed his eyes with furry, but relaxed his expression as he decided not to scold her. "Just be sure to take care of yourself, especially when I'm not around!" Aemond demanded.
