Helena gave Aenyra a knowing look. "Aenyra, when was the last time you had your blood moon?"

Aenyra furrowed her brow, trying to recall. It had been quite some time—definitely before they returned to King's Landing, which was two moons ago now. She had been experiencing frequent fatigue and waves of nausea lately, but she hadn't given it much thought until now. Every time she and Aemond were together, he spoke excitedly about starting a family. Could it be possible?

Aenyra's heart raced at the thought. The idea of becoming a mother had always seemed so distant, yet now it loomed before her like a shadow. "I— I'm not sure," she stammered, her mind swirling with uncertainty. "What if I am? What would that mean for us?"

Helena reached out, placing a reassuring hand on Aenyra's arm. "Tell me how you've been feeling?"

Aenyra nodded slowly. "I've been feeling really nauseous lately, especially when certain smells hit me or right after I wake up. I also get these dizzy spells, and my body just feels so tired—it's not like me at all."

Helena smiled softly. "I think it's safe to say you might be."

"Really? You think so?"

"Trust me, I've been through it two times myself. Everything you're describing suggests that you are. But it's best to see a maester."

Feeling a mix of fear and excitement, Aenyra took a deep breath, her hand instinctively resting on her stomach again, She couldn't help but imagine a child with white hair, a perfect blend of her and Aemond.

"But first, let's get you two married," Helena suggested, revealing a beautiful Valyrian robe.

Aenyra's eyes widened in surprise. "We're having a traditional Valyrian wedding?"

Helena smiled warmly. "Aemond insisted that's what you would have wanted."

"I-It is!" Aenyra exclaimed, her heart racing. She couldn't believe he remembered that conversation from so long ago. They had once read about the customs in a history book, and she had shared her dream of a traditional Valyrian ceremony if she ever married. The thought brought a mixture of joy and nostalgia flooding back. Aemond truly knew her, and she couldn't be happier that he was the person she fell in love with. The thought that they are getting married and possibly starting a family made her heart swell.

Aenyra and Helena made their way through the passageway, discreetly navigating towards the gardens and the godswood tree. As Aenyra stepped past the stone steps, her eyes sparkled at the sight before her. The scene was enchanting, with torches casting a gentle flicker of light around them and autumn leaves cascading down in vibrant shades of orange and red. Aemond stood patiently by the tree, dressed in his elegant Valyrian robe, while Jacaerys stood off to the left, offering her a warm smile. She silently thanked the gods for keeping them both safe after their earlier departure. To her surprise, there wasn't a scratch on either of them.

Jacaerys walked over and offered her his arm as they walked together toward Aemond, "You look beautiful sister, even more so than mother did."

Aenyra smiled at his words, but the closer they got to Aemond, the more she struggled to calm her racing heart, locking eyes with his striking blue gaze. To her surprise, there was no sign of nervousness on his face—only the warm smile that was reserved for her alone. She loved him with every beat of her heart and every breath in her lungs. Noticing her flushed cheeks, Aemond gently took her hand, and in that moment, all her nerves melted away.

Aemond

His heart raced as Aenyra descended the steps, clad in a traditional Valyrian robe that mirrored his own. Her long, wavy hair danced in the cool breeze, the traditional headpiece she wore held her hair back from her face beautifully. When their eyes met, he couldn't help but notice the faint flush that colored her cheeks. She was truly breathtaking.

She approached him, her beauty radiant in that moment, making him struggle to swallow the growing desire within him.

As she stood before him, her nervousness palpable, Aemond reached out and gently took her small hand in his larger one, feeling the warmth radiating from her. Her presence was intoxicating, drawing him in. He struggled to maintain his composure, fully aware of the intensity of the emotions swirling within him. Each heartbeat resonated in his ears, and he couldn't help but wonder if she felt the same magnetic pull that had him so captivated.

As the ritual began, Aenyra was presented with the Valyrian blade. With a swift and deliberate motion, she drew it across Aemond's lower lip, then used her thumb to mark his forehead with his blood. Aemond mirrored her actions, cutting his palm before pressing their hands together, allowing their blood to mingle. Helena carefully wrapped a cloth around their joined hands, sealing their bond. After sharing a sip from the same wine glass, they enveloped each other in a warm embrace, their lips crashing together as though it were both their first and last kiss.

The taste of one another lingered on their tongues—sweet, salty, intoxicating. It was a kiss that spoke volumes, conveying longing, passion, and an overwhelming sense of belonging. Suddenly, Jacaerys cleared his throat, interrupting the heated moment far too soon.

As they pulled apart briefly, their foreheads resting against each other, their hearts raced and their eyes fluttered open, reflecting the intensity of what had just occurred. Aenyra let out a soft chuckle as she gazed at Aemond; they were officially married—he was her husband. Nothing could stand in their way now; whatever challenges lay ahead, they would face them together. Helena unwrapped the bloodied cloth and tossed it into the fire, symbolizing the completion of their ceremony.

"I love you." Aemond whispered, a genuine smile breaking across his face, a rare sight since their childhood days.

"I love you, Aemond." Without hesitation, she pressed her lips against his again, fully immersed in the moment and oblivious to the presence of Jace and Helena. This was the culmination of all their moments.

As they pulled away, breathless and exhilarated, Aenyra's eyes sparkled with joy. She firmly grasped Aemond's hand, intertwining their fingers as if to solidify their bond.

"Whatever challenges we face, we will face them together," she declared, her voice steady and filled with conviction.

Aemond nodded, his expression turning serious. "Always together."

Jacaerys and Helena exchanged knowing glances, acutely aware of the moment's significance. Jace's earlier awkwardness melted away the instant he saw Aenyra's radiant smile; she was genuinely happy, a sight he once thought he might never witness again.

He beamed with pride at his sister and new brother-in-law, while Helena's heart brimmed with hope for their shared future.

They stood together in the flickering glow of the fire, surrounded by echoes of their past and the promise of what lay ahead. The night felt charged with possibility, each heartbeat resonating with the vows they had just exchanged.

"Okay, you two, I think there's one more thing you need to do before your marriage is officially recognized," Helena teased, watching as Aenyra's cheeks flushed a deep red. Aemond couldn't help but smile as he wrapped an arm around her waist, drawing her closer.

"I believe she's right, my dear," Aemond said with a playful grin. He scooped Aenyra up in a bridal carry, turning to leave. She squealed in surprise but quickly broke into laughter, wrapping her arms around his neck.

"Oh wait, what about Jacaerys—" Aenyra began, but Aemond halted, clearly concerned.

"Don't worry, that's already taken care of. You two go and enjoy your first night as a married couple—at least until reality sets in," Helena replied with a bittersweet smile.

Aenyra turned to Jacaerys, unsure.

"Go, I'll be fine," Jace reassured her, giving Aenyra an encouraging nod.

With that, Aemond adjusted his hold on her, and with swift strides, they disappeared down the castle's hidden passageway.
