Aenyra and Aemond strolled hand in hand through the hidden passage leading to Helena's chambers. He leaned down to kiss her cheek softly, his hand resting gently on her abdomen."I can't wait to see your belly grow," Aemond said with a playful bite at her earlobe.
Aenyra laughed and swatted him away. "I highly doubt you'll be so eager when I'm huge and can barely roll out of bed."
"I'm pretty sure I will," he replied confidently, a smirk dancing on his lips. He leaned in to kiss her fully on the mouth, their laughter mingling in the air.
"Playtime later," she said, breaking the kiss with a smile. "Right now, we need to hurry before my parents realize Jace and I are missing."
With a heavy sigh, Aemond nodded but surrendered to her urgency. "This one," he said, pointing to a door just a few feet from where Aenyra was about to walk through.
Following behind Aemond, Aenyra collided with his solid back, her nose smacking against him as he stood in the now-open doorway.
"Ouch! My nose! What the hell, Aemond? Why did you—" Aenyra began, rubbing her sore nose, but her words were abruptly cut off by the sight of Jacaerys and Helena in her bed, their expressions a mix of shock and surprise. "Oh shit," she whispered, glancing at Aemond to see if he was about to lose it on Jace. To her surprise, he simply tightened his jaw and turned away, retreating back into the hidden passageway.
Aenyra hesitated, torn between going after him or confronting Jace and Helena. But as she turned back to the two sitting up in her bed, she couldn't help but laugh. "I knew it!" she exclaimed joyfully before dashing after Aemond.
"Aemond, slow down!" Aenyra called out, trying to catch up. "It's no big deal; they looked happy!"
"He's a basta—" Aemond started, but the look on Aenyra's face made him swallow the rest of the insult.
"He's a what? Go ahead, finish that sentence—I want to hear it! Because, might I remind you, I'm also a bastard." Aenyra said, her anger palpable in her voice and expression.
"I didn't mean—look, he's fucking my sister. I can't help but be a little pissed off about it." Aemond shot back.
"Have you forgotten that you've been fucking HIS sister this entire time?" She gestured toward her stomach, emphasizing the child she carried.
"That's different—we're married," he replied matter-of-factly.
"Yeah, just as of last night. Gods forbid they might ever feel even a fraction of what we share," Aenyra said with a hint of sarcasm. "And let's not forget that Jacaerys accepted us! Don't you think he felt the same way you do now when he found out?"
Aemond let out a heavy sigh, knowing she was right. He leaned his forehead against hers for a moment, closing his eyes. "I'm sorry."
She leaned into him briefly before pulling away and tugging on his hand. "It's fine, but we have more important things to focus on right now, so you're just going to have to get over it for now!" Aenyra said, yanking him along behind her.
"Yes, ma'am." Aemond replied with a low chuckle that echoed in the room. Suddenly, he snaked his arms around her waist, pulling her close and planting a quick kiss on the back of her head before releasing her. Aenyra smiled warmly at the gesture.
As they entered the room, they shared a quick glance to one another relieved to find Jace and Helena already dressed and out of bed. The awkward tension was broken by Aenyra , "We can talk about all this later, first we need to find Aegon."
"He's probably in his chambers, passed out at this hour," Helena murmured.
"Aemond, you and Helena need to bring him here by any means necessary. We must act quickly and discreetly." Aemond and Helena nodded in agreement before hastily exiting through the main door.
Aenyra then turned her attention to Jace, who awkwardly met her gaze. A smile broke across both their faces.
"Thanks for not letting Aemond kill me," Jacaerys joked.
"He has no right to talk," Aenyra replied with mock sternness, though curiosity gnawed at her about their secretive encounter. "So, are you going to tell me what happened?"
Jace chuckled before responding, "Would you tell me all the juicy details about you and Aemond?"
"If you asked, I would," Aenyra shot back playfully.
Jace paused for a moment, then began to recount what had led to their intimate encounter.
"After you and Aemond left, Helena and I cleaned up the remnants of the ceremony and made our way back through the hidden passage to her chambers. She insisted I take the bed while she slept on the couch, but I wouldn't let her do that; Mother raised me better than that. Eventually, we both ended up in the bed together. We started talking about her marriage to Aegon and my betrothal to Baela, lamenting how we were both forced into these arrangements. Next thing I knew, our lips were touching. Honestly, I'm not sure who initiated it, but it was incredible. I've never felt this way about any woman before—only her. I really think I'm in love with Helena."
Jacaerys's face lit up at the mere mention of her name. Aenyra recognized that look all too well, the same one she wore whenever she thought of Aemond.
"Can't believe my little brothers in love— What are you planning to do about Aegon and Baela then?" Aenyra asked hesitantly.
"I haven't figured that out yet. Right now, we need to focus on getting Mother her throne," Jace replied. Just as Aenyra was about to respond, a rustling noise came from the hidden door behind them. They instinctively stepped back as the door suddenly burst open, and Aegon stumbled forward, hitting the stone floor hard.
"Gahh, Aemond, you didn't have to shove me so hard!" Aegon groaned, clutching his wrist where it had struck the ground.
"Why is he soaked?" Aenyra asked, eyeing Aegon's drenched head and tunic.
"Let's just say he needed a bit of a wake-up call to snap him out of his drunken haze," Aemond replied, a wicked grin spreading across his face.
"Aenyra, Jacaerys? What in the Seven Hells are you doing here? If Mother or Otto finds out—" his shocked voice was cut off.
"Aegon," Aenyra said sharply, cutting through his frantic babbling. He finally turned his gaze to hers. "Listen carefully to what I'm about to say."

The morning sun was now fully overhead, signaling that it was time for Aenyra and Jace to head back to Dragonstone.
"Goodbye, Helena. I hope it won't be long until we see each other again," Aenyra said, wrapping her arms around Helena in a warm embrace.
"I hope so too. Stay safe; you're carrying something precious," Helena whispered as they pulled apart and exchanged happy smiles.
Jacaerys and Aemond exchanged a mutual nod before Jace approached Helena to say his goodbyes.
"I don't like you flying in this state." Aemond murmured, holding her hand and tracing the ring he had given her while they stood beside Cannibal.
"I'm not heavily pregnant, and Cannibal would never let anything happen to me," Aenyra reassured him, planting a tender kiss on his left cheek before their lips met. She let the kiss linger for a moment, savoring the connection before pulling away.
Aemond placed his hand gently on her stomach, still grappling with the revelation that she was carrying their child. "After they meet, we'll tell them about our marriage and the little life inside me," Aenyra whispered, her lips just a breath away from his. They shared one last passionate kiss, a moment of unspoken promises, before he stepped back to watch her carefully climb onto Cannibal.
"You ready?" Jacaerys called out, he was already seated on Vermax. Aenyra nodded in response, exchanging one final wave goodbye with the people they loved before they soared into the sky
