Chapter 59: Sleepover Shenanigans
The weekend arrived, and Keeho had been buzzing with excitement all week about the sleepover he planned at his house. He couldn't wait to spend the night with Soul, filled with laughter, late-night snacks, and maybe a few sweet moments.
As the sun began to set, Soul made his way to Keeho's house, his heart racing with anticipation. When he arrived, Keeho greeted him at the door, wearing a big smile and a pair of fuzzy pajama pants that made him look adorably casual.
"Welcome to the Keeho Kingdom!" he declared, sweeping his arms wide as if he were presenting a royal throne room.
Soul laughed, stepping inside. "What's the dress code for the kingdom? Do I need a crown?"
Keeho placed a hand dramatically on his heart. "Only if you want to be the cutest royal here. But don't worry; I'll let you borrow mine if needed."
Soul rolled his eyes, but a smile crept onto his face. "Alright, Your Highness. What's on the agenda for tonight?"
"First, we need to establish our snack fortress," Keeho replied, leading Soul to the kitchen. "No royal sleepover is complete without snacks!"
Together, they raided the pantry, pulling out popcorn, chips, and an assortment of candy. Keeho tossed a bag of gummy bears at Soul, who caught it instinctively.
"Perfect! Now we can defend our fortress against any intruders," Keeho said, his eyes sparkling with mischief.
After they piled their snacks onto the living room coffee table, they flopped onto the couch, surrounded by pillows and blankets. Keeho grabbed the remote and flicked through the channels until he found a movie that looked interesting.
"Perfect! This one is guaranteed to be a classic," Keeho said, his excitement palpable.
As the movie played, Keeho leaned against Soul, his shoulder pressed against his boyfriend's. Soul could feel his heart race, the warmth of Keeho's presence making him feel safe and comfortable.
Halfway through the movie, Keeho suddenly turned his head and said, "You know what would make this even better?"
"What?" Soul asked, glancing over.
"If we played a game! Something funny and totally ridiculous!" Keeho's eyes lit up with enthusiasm.
"Like what?" Soul asked, intrigued.
"How about Truth or Dare? The classic sleepover game!" Keeho suggested, bouncing slightly in excitement.
Soul chuckled, feeling the thrill of the idea. "Okay, but you have to promise not to be too crazy with your dares."
Keeho put a hand on his heart, feigning hurt. "Me? Crazy? Never! I'm only a little bit chaotic."
Soul raised an eyebrow, unable to suppress his smile. "Sure. Let's go with that."
Keeho clapped his hands together and grinned. "Alright, I'll start! Soul, truth or dare?"
"Dare," Soul replied, his heart pounding slightly in anticipation.
Keeho thought for a moment, a devious grin spreading across his face. "I dare you to take a picture of yourself making the most ridiculous face possible and send it to Jongseob."
Soul laughed, shaking his head. "That's so embarrassing!"
"Exactly! That's what makes it a dare!" Keeho exclaimed, leaning closer with a mischievous sparkle in his eyes.
With a dramatic sigh, Soul pulled out his phone, posing for the camera. He made a goofy face, sticking his tongue out and crossing his eyes. After snapping the picture, he sent it to Jongseob, who immediately replied with a stream of laughing emojis.
"Now it's your turn!" Soul said, feeling triumphant.
Keeho grinned. "Fine! I'll take a dare too! Soul, truth or dare?"
"Dare," Soul said, feeling confident.
"I dare you to give me a piggyback ride around the room!" Keeho declared, bursting into laughter.
Soul chuckled but stood up, bending slightly so Keeho could hop onto his back. With Keeho's arms around his neck, Soul began to walk around the room, pretending to struggle.
"Whoa! It's like carrying a baby elephant!" Soul exclaimed, causing Keeho to giggle.
"Hey! I'm a majestic baby elephant!" Keeho shot back, making it impossible for Soul to keep a straight face.
They continued to play the game, sharing laughs and silly dares. Eventually, Keeho looked thoughtful as he asked, "Okay, Soul, truth or dare?"
"Truth," Soul replied, curious about what Keeho would ask.
Keeho leaned closer, his voice dropping to a whisper. "What's something you've always wanted to do with me but haven't yet?"
Soul felt his heart race, the question hanging in the air between them. After a moment, he smiled shyly. "I've always wanted to... go stargazing with you."
Keeho's eyes lit up, and he nodded enthusiastically. "That sounds amazing! We definitely have to do that sometime!"
After a few more rounds, Keeho leaned back against the couch, his expression turning serious for a moment. "I really like this. Just us, having fun, being silly."
Soul smiled softly, his heart swelling. "Me too, Keeho. I love spending time with you like this."
Keeho shifted closer, his voice dropping to a playful whisper. "So, does this mean I can finally steal a kiss?"
Soul blushed, looking up at Keeho with wide eyes. "Maybe..."
Keeho smirked, leaning in closer, his breath warm against Soul's lips. "Come on, it's just a kiss. I promise I won't bite... much."
Soul's heart raced as he leaned in, closing the distance between them. Their lips met in a soft, sweet kiss that sent sparks through both of them. It was innocent and full of warmth, a moment that made Soul's heart flutter.
When they finally pulled away, Keeho grinned. "See? Wasn't that nice?"
"Yeah," Soul replied, his cheeks flushed. "It was... really nice."
Keeho chuckled, a playful glint in his eyes. "Okay, but that just means I need another!"
As they settled back onto the couch, their snacks forgotten for the moment, the playful energy between them continued to grow. They watched the rest of the movie, stealing kisses in between scenes, laughing at the corny jokes, and enjoying each other's company.
Eventually, as the credits rolled, Keeho sighed contentedly. "This has been the best night ever."
Soul nodded in agreement, feeling the same warmth in his chest. "I couldn't have asked for a better sleepover."
Keeho leaned against Soul, resting his head on his shoulder. "Let's do this more often. Just us, being silly, making memories."
"Definitely," Soul replied, wrapping an arm around Keeho, pulling him closer.
As they settled into the comfort of each other's presence, the night stretched on with laughter, whispered secrets, and promises of more adventures together. For both Keeho and Soul, this was just the beginning of many more unforgettable moments to come.
