Chapter 61: Back to Dance

After a long break focusing on other subjects, dance practice was finally back on the schedule. Soul had been buzzing with excitement all day, and it seemed like everyone else was just as ready to shake off the rust and get moving.

The entire group—Keeho, Soul, Theo, Jiung, Intak, and Jongseob—gathered in the studio, laughing and stretching as they prepared for practice. Keeho turned to Soul with a smirk, giving him a once-over as Soul was focused on loosening up his shoulders.

"You ready to get back into it, Mr. Superstar?" Keeho teased, nudging Soul lightly. "Bet you've missed my impressive moves."

Soul chuckled, rolling his eyes but grinning. "I think you've missed showing off more than I've missed watching."

"Oh, so you admit it, huh?" Keeho said, his tone flirty as he leaned in. "You missed watching me."

Soul's cheeks reddened, and he pushed Keeho away playfully. "Just start warming up! I don't want to hear any complaints when you can't keep up!"

Theo clapped his hands, calling everyone to attention. "Alright, alright, enough flirting, you two! Let's start with some basics to get back in the groove."

They lined up, and Theo led them through a series of warm-up moves. Soon, the beats of their favorite playlist filled the studio, and everyone started to loosen up, syncing with the music.

Intak grinned as he spun next to Soul. "Feels good to be back, huh?"

"Definitely," Soul said, matching Intak's moves with a newfound energy. "I missed this. And it's nice to see everyone in sync again."

Keeho shot Soul a wink as he slid into a smooth spin, his expression playful. "Glad to see my favorite dance partner kept up with his moves over the break. Guess we won't be rusty for long!"

Soul shook his head, biting back a smile. "We'll see if you can keep up, Keeho!"

With a grin, Keeho took the challenge, launching into a series of intricate steps with a casual confidence that made everyone in the room laugh. He was clearly showing off, his movements exaggerated but smooth, as if he were making a statement.

"Alright, show-off!" Jiung called out, laughing as he watched Keeho go all out. "You're acting like we're performing already!"

Keeho struck a dramatic pose and shot a flirty look at Soul. "Just making sure someone here remembers why I'm the best partner!"

Theo rolled his eyes, chuckling. "Come on, guys. Let's run the choreography from the top and see who's actually the best."

They all took their places, and as the music started, each of them got lost in the movements. The group was a little out of sync at first, with a few missed steps here and there, but soon, they found their rhythm again.

Keeho kept glancing over at Soul during breaks, sending little smirks and winks his way. Every time Soul caught him looking, he felt his heart race a little faster, his focus slipping as Keeho's flirty energy seemed to dance in the air between them.

As they worked through the routine, Keeho moved closer, finding any excuse to be next to Soul. At one point, during a partner sequence, he slid his hand around Soul's waist, guiding him into the next step with a practiced ease.

"See? Told you we make a good team," Keeho whispered, his voice low and teasing.

Soul looked up, his face warming. "You're just trying to mess me up."

Keeho smirked, leaning in a little closer. "Maybe. Or maybe I just like being this close to you."

With one final spin, they finished the routine, and everyone burst into laughter and applause, relieved to have remembered most of the moves.

"That was awesome!" Intak cheered, high-fiving Jiung and Theo.

Jongseob flopped onto the floor dramatically, grinning up at them. "Can we take a five-minute break? I need to catch my breath!"

Keeho reached out, pulling Soul into a side hug as he whispered, "You did amazing, by the way. I couldn't stop watching."

Soul blinked up at him, caught off-guard by the sudden compliment. "Thanks... I, um, couldn't stop watching you either," he mumbled, feeling flustered.

"Aw, is that a blush I see?" Keeho teased, leaning closer with a playful grin. "Looks like I still have that effect on you!"

Soul pushed Keeho away, laughing. "You're impossible!"

Just then, Theo cleared his throat, grinning. "Alright, lovebirds, time for round two. Let's see if you two can keep your focus this time."

Keeho gave a dramatic sigh. "I'll try, but it's hard when I've got such a cute partner distracting me."

Everyone laughed, and they got back into position, ready to run the choreography again. This time, their movements were sharper, the rhythm smoother, and the entire routine felt effortless. Each step brought them closer together, Keeho's flirtation blending seamlessly into their dance as they moved with practiced precision.

By the end of practice, they were all a bit sweaty and breathless, but the energy in the room was electric. Keeho couldn't resist one last flirty remark, leaning close to Soul with a smirk.

"Looks like we make the perfect dance team. Want to take this rhythm outside the studio?"

Soul laughed, rolling his eyes but smiling. "I think I've had enough of your flirting for today. But I'll think about it."

As they packed up and left the studio, everyone was in high spirits, feeling closer than ever and excited to bring dance back into their routine. And for Keeho and Soul, the chemistry was undeniable, their dance partnership as electric as ever.
