Chapter 60: Glued to the hip

The next week at school, Keeho noticed something different about Soul. He was a bit more touchy and clingy than usual, often finding reasons to stay close to Keeho.

During their lunch break, Keeho was at his usual table with Theo, Jiung, and Intak when Soul arrived, his eyes sparkling with excitement. As soon as he spotted Keeho, he practically ran over, plopping down next to him and leaning his head on Keeho's shoulder.

"Hey, what's up?" Keeho asked, grinning as he wrapped an arm around Soul's shoulders.

"Nothing much," Soul replied, his voice muffled against Keeho's shirt. "I just wanted to be close to you."

Keeho raised an eyebrow, feigning surprise. "Oh really? You mean you don't want to be over there with Jiung and Intak?"

"Nope!" Soul said, shaking his head vigorously, causing Keeho to laugh. "I'd rather be here. Besides, you're way more fun."

Keeho's heart swelled at the compliment. "Aw, look at you getting all sweet on me. Who knew you could be such a charmer?"

Soul blushed but kept his head nestled against Keeho's shoulder. "I'm just stating facts," he said, smiling shyly.

"Alright, Mr. Fact Checker," Keeho teased, giving Soul a gentle nudge. "Just don't let it get to your head. I still need to keep my crown as the funniest one in this relationship."

Soul looked up, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "What if I told you I think you're only funny when you're trying to make me laugh?"

Keeho gasped dramatically. "I'm shocked! The truth hurts, Soul."

Soul giggled, and Keeho couldn't help but smile at how cute he was. As lunch continued, Soul clung to Keeho's side, occasionally stealing bites of his food and leaning closer whenever Keeho cracked a joke.

"Okay, okay, I get it! You really like being my sidekick," Keeho said playfully, trying to keep a straight face while watching Soul enjoy the attention.

"More like your superhero partner!" Soul retorted, puffing out his chest and striking a superhero pose.

"I'm not sure if 'Clingy Boy' is a great superhero name, but I'm all for it," Keeho laughed.

As the bell rang, signaling the end of lunch, Soul tightened his grip on Keeho's arm, refusing to let go. "Can we walk to class together?" he asked, his voice soft and a little pleading.

Keeho chuckled, feeling a rush of warmth at Soul's clinginess. "Of course! I wouldn't want it any other way."

As they walked down the hallway, Soul practically glued himself to Keeho's side. The closer they got to their next class, the more Soul seemed to want to be attached to him. He wrapped his arms around Keeho's waist, resting his head against his back.

Keeho glanced back and couldn't help but grin. "You really are clingy today, huh?"

Soul nuzzled against him, looking completely unfazed. "Maybe I just really like being close to you."

Keeho's heart fluttered at the confession. "Well, you're making it hard for me to walk straight! But I'm not complaining."

Once they reached their classroom, Soul reluctantly released his hold but took a seat next to Keeho, giving him a warm smile that made his heart skip a beat. Throughout the lesson, Soul would often steal glances at Keeho, his gaze full of admiration.

After class, they headed to the school courtyard, where they spotted Jongseob and Jiung sitting on a bench. Keeho waved them over, but Soul kept his hand firmly intertwined with Keeho's.

"Look at you two, all lovey-dovey," Jiung teased, grinning at their joined hands.

"Nothing wrong with a little PDA," Keeho replied, smirking. "Aren't you all just jealous?"

"Totally," Jongseob said, rolling his eyes dramatically. "But I'm pretty sure that's just because Soul is practically glued to you!"

Soul blushed, leaning into Keeho's side again. "Can you blame me? He's perfect!"

Keeho laughed, ruffling Soul's hair affectionately. "Aw, look at that! He's all sweet and clingy! I must be doing something right."

As the afternoon passed, they all joked and laughed, but Soul found himself gravitating closer to Keeho. Whenever Keeho told a funny story, Soul would lean in, clutching Keeho's arm as he laughed, his whole face lighting up.

"Okay, okay, Soul! Are you going to take my arm home with you?" Keeho joked, raising an eyebrow.

"Maybe!" Soul shot back, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "It's my favorite arm."

Keeho grinned. "That's fine, just as long as I get it back by the end of the day!"

When school finally ended, Keeho and Soul walked out hand in hand, Soul still attached to his side. As they reached Keeho's house, Soul looked up at him with wide, hopeful eyes. "Can we have another sleepover tonight?"

Keeho laughed, nodding. "Of course! I wouldn't have it any other way. The more time with my clingy superhero, the better!"

As they settled in for the night, Soul couldn't help but feel grateful for how perfect everything was. He loved being close to Keeho, and each moment they spent together made him feel even more connected.

Later that night, while they were curled up on the couch watching a movie, Keeho turned to Soul with a teasing smile. "You know, I think I'm starting to get used to this clinginess. It's kind of nice."

Soul smiled shyly, leaning his head against Keeho's shoulder. "Good, because I'm not planning to stop anytime soon."

Keeho chuckled, wrapping his arm around Soul's shoulders, pulling him closer. "Then I guess we'll just have to embrace it!"

They both laughed, and as the movie played on, they enjoyed each other's company, feeling comfortable and content. For Soul, being clingy felt right when it came to Keeho, and he couldn't imagine being any other way.
