Richard and Dillon walk in the corridor. Richard stops and Dillon turn to him confused, he stands in front of a door to someone's quarters. He raises an eyebrow as Richard takes a deep breath.

Richard unlocks the door to his quarters and the door slides open. Immediately he is slapped hard. Dillon jumps slightly with wide eyes, not having seen it coming or expected that. You push and pound Richard in the chest as you get out. Dry tears on your face. He takes your hands, stopping you from punching and yelling at him.

"I'm sorry, but I had to. The Achaians are following us, so they still have a chance. Now, I need you on the observation deck."

You sniffle and nod. He lets your hands go. You just glance at the new person and walk away, heading the observation deck.

"What did you do to her?" He asks Richard.

"I had to leave the man she loves behind to die."

"Oh."

"Yeah.."

...

"If you're trying to sabotage the ship, you're gonna need a much better plan than this." Iara tells Javier as he working inside the panel under the computer in the particle accelerator.

"I'm trying to make faster than light travel even faster. So, if you know how to break the laws of physics, please, speak up." He clutches and rubs the back of his thigh slightly.

"You're in pain."

"Yeah. Like thousand pins and needles stabbing up and down my leg." He sighs. "That doesn't mean much to you."

"I'd like a body."

"And I'd like to be able to pop in and out of places with my mind."

"Like the Salvare?" She rolls her eyes.

"You went over to the Achaian ship."

"And got attacked."

"Yeah. You don't need a body to feel pain." He then turns to her. "I get it. Can't you use your neural pathways to.. conjure up other environments? I don't know. Mount Everest, rings of Saturn."

"I can, but.. it's not exactly fun travelling alone."

He then takes off his blocker.

"What are you doing!?"

"Maybe there's a way you don't have to be so alone." He walks closer to her.

"Javier, you need to put those back on. It's dangerous."

"I trust you." He holds out his hand for her.

Tenderly, she reaches for him and they put their palms together. Their hands glow slightly blue, then they stop and they intertwine their fingers. She gasps.

"Whoa. I can feel you." He says.

"Not really, but.."

"It's close enough."

"Close enough."
