**************

It took awhile for you and Touya to get away. When you both finished your cigarettes, you didn't even bother heading back into the cave to say goodbye to anyone. Tomura already knew, keeping his lips tightly sealed. All that was left in the cave, besides Master, was Spinner, who you knew would be alright as long as he had Tomura around, the one person he gave up following Stain for enable to truly look up to Tomura as his new ideal leader. Compress was locked up, and you cared for the older man, but not enough to risk your life to say goodbye to. Which meant, last but definitely not least, left Himiko Toga.

The true sweetheart of your little mesh family. The little blood crazed teenager, obsessed with the ideal of love and happiness in her own twisted way, something she never truly got to receive when she was little, just like the rest of you. You haven't seen her in probably about a week, and you were filled with nothing but worry for her. Not that she couldn't hold her own if she got ambushed, but in the state she left you guys in, her mind a mess and feelings all over the map, you were more worried about her feeling alone more than anything.

You and Touya were walking hand in hand down the empty, dark streets. Glass and debris were scattered all throughout the road, the aftermath of fight after fight as villains rose up when your League made its rightful resurface. You and Touya had an idea on where she'd be, it was just a matter of finding the right street. You were still wearing his jacket over yours, the cold at night getting a little more bitter with the occasional breeze rolling through the abandoned streets. You broke away from his side, kicking a rock down the road as it bounced off a tree stump and tumbled its way down the sidewalk.

"Where even is this house we're looking for?" Touya sighed, sticking his hands in his pockets as you wandered a couple feet away from him.

Your eyes surveyed the empty houses, a lot of them missing their windows and even doors; "she's only mentioned the area where the house used to be, we should be close I think."

He hummed in response, watching as you stopped in your tracks, your head looking off to the right as your eyebrows furrowed.

"What's wrong?" He asked quietly as he stopped too, your hand raising to silence him as you listened.

You were stopped in front of a two story house, the front door laying on the front lawn as if it exploded off its hinges and landed there. Due to the partly cloudy night sky, it made the house darker on the inside, giving you a harder time seeing exactly what was making noise. You were hearing shuffling, little bits of wood falling off of something as pitter-pattering followed. You slowly brought a vine down your arm from your shoulder, wrapping it around your hand as you carefully listened. The shuffling was getting closer to the front door, but your eyes wouldn't adjust to the darkness to give an indication as to what it was, setting you on edge. You could have Touya set the house ablaze as a precaution, but that would just draw unwanted attention from heroes that may or may not be nearby.

Then you heard the shuffling get louder, as if the unknown source was moving quicker as more stuff clattered against the ground inside the house. Your hands tightened around your vine, mentally preparing yourself to swing at whatever was quickly approaching the doorway. Touya watched in silence, one of his hands out of his pocket, a small blue flame dancing on his fingers, waiting for your say so.

Then, a small white cat jumped out of the doorway, landing gracefully onto the small porch with its back arched and its hair standing on edge. Its blue eyes met yours, your hand releasing the grasp on your vine as you sighed, a snicker coming from behind you from Touya.
