Chap 34- On The Run

A/N: I think this chap or maybe the next might be the last non canon chaps before we fall back into season six storyline. I am changing the ending tho, so don't expect this story to follow thru into season seven. I promised a good ending for Touya, it's what he deserves. I stand by the decision and I have no apologies for it lol

Your mind was reeling over the information that got laid into you just a few minutes ago as you climbed the stairs, Toga gripping your wrist tightly as she pulled you along. You thanked whatever gods that existed that you left your wedges behind, your bare feet slapping against the cold stairs instead of fighting the heels in your rush.

You both burst out the slightly open door that leads into the bathroom, the one you collapsed in. How didn't you notice the door when you were in here earlier? You didn't have time to ponder over the thought as explosions sounded off behind the main bathroom door, a high pitched yell following soon after. Your mind was buzzing as Toga looked down the staircase behind you, a pained scream echoing off the cement walls from below.

"Skeptic and Molly already took off," Toga said as she handed you your purse off her shoulder. You dug in it for your phone, messages making it vibrate as Skeptic kept updating you on the positions of the heroes that were closing in on your location.

Another explosion sounded off behind the main bathroom door, making it swing open abruptly as it slammed into the wall. Your eyes scanned over the club as you carefully stepped toward the door frame. Blue flames danced around the building, glass and wood debris laying all over the floor.

"We need to get ourselves out before we get-" you started before another explosion set off, making the upper floor above the bathroom slightly collapse as two bodies landed onto the dance floor. Spinner was fighting Kala for her weapons, Twice and Compress sliding down carefully onto the first floor. Toga called out to Twice, who whipped his head in your direction before running over.

"Twice, make copies of me and use my water quirk to make us a path out" you commanded him as he nodded, raising his hands as brown sludge hit the floor and slowly transformed into you. The Twice copies of you instantly started putting out the fires around the area so that you could step out into the main chaos.

Every time Kala had Spinner pinned, gun to his head or not, Spinner would flip the script and pin her right back, and you got to witness it happen for awhile while Twice's doubles went to work. The smoke stung your eyes as you stepped out of the bathroom quickly, Toga remaining by the stairs to wait for Dabi. When Kala flipped Spinner onto his back again, she aimed her pistol at his head, making your anger spike more than it already was.

Vines shot out of your palms as you brought them forward, wrapping around the pistol and forcing it to smack Kala in the face. As she stumbled back onto her ass, you flung the weapon across the club, the clatter of the metal distant as you moved your vines to wrap around Kala's neck. Spinner got up quickly, wiping blood from his face as you approached Kala.

"Your brother was useless, so I'm going to ask you instead," you said, anger seething out of your voice as your vines tightened around her neck, making her wheeze as her eyes met yours. You pulled her closer to you as you crouched down to her level, a small layer of fear settling over her slowly turning red face.

"Why're we here." You commanded rather than questioned as her hands scratched at your vines. She attempted to smirk at your glare, the heat of your water quirk making your skin steam.

"Just kill me," she wheezed out. "Your boyfriend already killed my brothers-"

You cut her off with a squeeze of your vines as you yanked her to the floor, her hands moving to catch her just in time. "I'll get to that when you answer my question" you seethed.
