"I'm telling you, we should hide in the Amusement Park!", Luffy whined as he rested his hands behind his head.
"Liar! You just wanna go and have fun!", Usopp called him out.
Before anyone could say anything else, a shadow loomed over them. A massive figure stood over the Straw Hats.
"It can't be!", Nami exclaimed in fear.
Actually, every single Straw Hat beside Luffy and Yushiro looked scared.
"Huh?", Yushiro raised an eyebrow.
"Who're you?", Luffy questioned unconcerned.
"Luffy, Yushiro! Stand back!", Usopp warned them fearfully.
"He's one of the Warlords of the Sea!", Nami informed them as she took her Clima Takt out.
Then, a growling sound filled their ears.
"Hm?... Shiro....-chann....?", Nami let out worriedly.
.......
"He's really tall..... Lucky bastard....", Yushiro grumbled childlishly.
"THAT'S WHAT YOU'RE ANGRY ABOUT?!"
It finally clicked to Luffy. "Wait, A WARLORD?! How come you guys know about that?", he asked them curiously.
The Warlord slowly removed his glove, making Sanji panicked. "Don't let that attack hit you! It's a shockwave!", he warned them.
Before they could react, the Warlord's hand began to glow, energy surging from within.
A laser blast erupted from his palm, slamming into the ground in front of them.
The explosion sent a shockwave rippling through the air.
Luffy stumbled back, coughing through the smoke. "HEY! That wasn't a shockwave!",
"THAT WAS A BEAM!", Chopper and Luffy cheered with sparkles filling their eyes.
"THIS IS NOT THE TIME TO BE EXCITED, YOU MORONS!", Usopp scolded them.
The Warlord aimed his hand at them again and Robin found the courage to speak between her fear. "Bartholomew Kuma! Why are you back?!"
"Kuma...?", Yushiro repeated and turned to the others. "Wait, is he the guy you said showed up on Thriller Bark afterwards?!"
"Yeah that's him!", Usopp nodded and pointged accusingly at Kuma. "Things got real bad when he hit us with shockwaves from the paws on his palms!"
Chopper, with a serious face, turned into his human form. "He had planned to wipe us out there...so he must've come back when he found out we survived!"
Franky raised his arms. "You gave us quite the trouble back there!", he said as his hands grew bigger and bigger.
"Coup De Vent!", a massive compressed air blast erupted from Franky's palms, striking Kuma straight in the chest. The force sent him skidding backward into a tree, cracking upon impact.
Luffy crouched low, steam emitting from his skin as his second gear kicked in. "We know he's strong... so... let's go all out right from the start!"
That actually motivated all the straw hats, and they all took out their weapons or stood ready to attack.
"We've got no choice, huh?", Yushiro muttered as his left eye darkened a bit. "Crest: Level 1", he mumbled and cracks appeared under his left eye.
