"How mean are we going to be?" Hyunjin asked as he heard the sound of Juno coming in the entrance.
"Only a little mean." JoJo snickered.
-
Juno ran into his parents' apartment excitedly.
"Hi, mom. Hi Daddy." He said.
Both of them pretended to be nonchalant.
"Hey, sunshine. How was school this week?" JoJo asked, giving Juno a hug.
"Good." Juno smiled excitedly. He went to hug his dad.
"Are you excited for finals?" Hyunjin asked.
Juno cleared his throat. "More stressed than excited. But I'm excited about other things..." Juno said, hinting at them.
"That's nice." Hyunjin said as he washed the dishes.
JoJo started taking some meat out of the freezer to thaw. "Are you having supper with us?" She asked.
Juno couldn't believe they were being so normal. "Umm... I was planning to go pick up Zoey and go out..."
"Oh. I see." JoJo said.
"Dad? Did you hear me?" Juno asked.
"What?" Hyunjin asked, turning around.
"I'm going to pick up Zoey... And go out... with her. Together. The two of us.............. Alone..." Juno over explained.
Hyunjin nodded. "I got it. We won't make dinner for you then."
"Okay..." Juno nodded. He looked back and forth between his parents. "Do you guys know what day it is?" He asked.
JoJo laughed. "Of course, Juno. It's Saturday."
Hyunjin turned to face the sink, trying not to laugh.
Juno sighed. "Where are Poppy and Teddie?"
"With Uncle Jisung and Auntie Lani." JoJo said.
"Okay. Well, I'm going to head out then." Juno said.
"Ok. Oh! Junny, could you stop at the store and pick up some milk before you come home?" Hyunjin asked.
