"So, how did it go?" Seungmin asked as he walked back in the house after work.
Jeongin smiled. "It went well. The lawyer was nice, and he said the situation seemed pretty hopeful. So I'm a bit relieved. Although I'm sure they say that to everyone in order to get more clients." He sighed.
Seungmin clicked his tongue. "And did you tell Felix?"
"Yep." Jeongin hummed.
"How did that go?"
"Ummm... I would say it went as expected. He was speechless. Mostly." Jeongin replied.
Seungmin nodded. "Are you going to tell dad?"
"Tell him that the mistakes I made actually resulted in me having a child that has had a horrible life? No, I haven't mentioned it yet." Jeongin said sarcastically.
Seungmin hummed. "But you'll have to tell him sometime. Besides, he won't be any more mad. The past is the past. There's nothing you could do when you didn't know the kid existed."
Jeongin sighed. "I'll tell him when I go to London."
"When will that be?"
"Next week, like I originally planned."
"So you're just going to hide out in my apartment for a week?"
"Yep."
"Did you find out any more information about the kid or this whole process?" Seungmin asked.
"I can't find out more about him until I have proof that he's my kid. And I have an appointment to go for the testing thing on Friday. They have to send some type of order to Wolf's foster parent's, and then they have to send someone to collect a dna sample." Jeongin explained.
"Is that what you're going to call him? Wolf?" Seungmin asked.
"Well, I'm definitely not calling him "Gang" or something." Jeongin huffed.
"Hmm."
"And I'll have to get a criminal record check. Which hopefully will go over well, because if for some reason the court wanted to, they could make it seem like I have a violent past or purposely killed someone even though it was deemed as self defense and there were never any charges... So that'll be fun." Jeongin sighed sarcastically.
"And then after you do all that, you just have to go back to Korea and wait?"
"Yep. And that'll be really fun. The most fun. Because when I tell Minho hyung, I'm literally going to die. He will kill me. And I need him to testify for me because I lived with him after I left Canada. He has to vouch for me and tell them whether I've actually been clean and sober since I moved." Jeongin said sadly. "He literally will beat me."
