AGES JUNO 18 TEDDIE 10.
August 2042
"That one!" Teddie squealed excitedly, pointing at an Italian restaurant that was painted bright yellow on the outside.
"That one?" Juno asked with a smile.
Teddie nodded.
"Okay. Let's go." Juno chuckled.
Teddie ran ahead, waiting at the crosswalk for Juno to catch up.
They waited until the walk light turned on, and they crossed together.
"Hyung, after we eat, I want to go back over there and go to this place!" Teddie said, pointing at the kids arcade they had walked by.
Juno hummed. "We'll see how late it is when we get out."
"It's fine! It says it's open until 10:00!" Teddie said.
"I mean that we might be heading back to the hotel by then." Juno said.
Teddie furrowed his brows. "You said today I get to do whatever I want!"
"Within reason, boy!" Juno scoffed, pushing Teddie to the side playfully.
Teddie pouted, feeling as if he'd been lied to.
"Look, Teddie, we can't stay out here all night. You wanted to go swimming when we get to the hotel, so we don't have time to go to every place tonight."
"But you said I don't have a bedtime cuz it's our bro trip." Teddie whined.
"Oh, come on, man! I'm being so chill with you. Your bedtime is usually 9:30... It's 9:00 pm right now and we're only just eating dinner. And I'll still take you swimming when we get back." Juno said as they walked in the door to the restaurant.
"But I might never get to play at that arcade!" Teddie whispered desperately.
"We're in the city for 3 whole days!" Juno whispered back, getting annoyed.
Teddie crossed his arms sadly.
The waitress came up to seat them. "Table for how many?"
"Two." Juno said.
He started following the waitress.
Realizing that Teddie was not budging. He went back and grabbed his hand, pulling him to the table.
Teddie sat across from him sadly and looked at the menu.
"Teddie, you chose everything we did today, and you chose every food we ate, and you chose this restaurant. Don't feel upset about one thing you didn't get to do." Juno said.
Teddie looked back at the menu and sighed. "Hyung, can you buy me spaghetti?"
Juno smiled. "You want spaghetti?"
Teddie nodded with a small smile.
"Me too!" Juno chuckled. "Maybe we can share like in the movies and end up accidentally eating the same spaghetti noodle!"
"Ew." Teddie giggled. "You buy your own!" He ordered.
"Fine." Juno sighed with fake disappointment.
"I'm so hungry!" Teddie said, drooling over the pictures on the menu.
"I know. You're getting grumpy." Juno teased.
Teddie rolled his eyes. "Am not."
"Are too."
"Am not!"
