"So, what do you think of the new place?" Hyunjin asked as he set down a moving box.
"It's good." Alex sighed.
"Yeah? Just good?"
"It's not bad. I have a pretty big bedroom." She said, finally showing a little smile.
Hyunjin nodded excitedly. "What are you gonna put in it?"
"My bed." Alex snorted.
Hyunjin rolled his eyes. "Oh, come on. You've gotta have more imagination than that." He said, walking in to get a better look at the space. "There's so much potential in here." He said, gesturing dramatically.
She pressed her lips together in an effort to not laugh.
Jessica walked into the room carrying another box, with Juno walking in behind her, also carrying a box.
Alex shrugged. "I mean... I guess it would be fun to decorate it."
"Yeah. What kind of things would you want to decorate with?" Hyunjin asked.
Alex hummed. "Well, I've seen those picture walls. You know? Where you hang your pictures like a photo display. But I don't have pictures with friends. I mean, I don't have friends. Sooo..." she said in a depressed tone.
Juno threw his hand to his heart dramatically. "Ouch. I thought WE were friends." He said, making his lip quiver.
Alex snorted. "Okay, fine... You are. But still, there's not much point in having a photo wall with just one person." She rolled her eyes.
Jessica was about to speak up, but Juno beat her to it.
"Oh, come on! People like you. You already have at least 4 friends that I know of, so you probably actually have more." He said.
"Which 4?" She asked grumpily.
"Me. Eden. Mari.... And that other girl. The one that was at your house when we were playing charades." Juno said.
"Finley?" Alex asked.
Juno nodded.
"They're not really my friends. I don't think." Alex whispered.
Juno rolled his eyes. "You're focusing too much on yourself."
Alex rolled her eyes back at him.
"Obviously, they're your friends. You just have to stop worrying what they think about you and start caring about them. You can make friends with anyone that way." Juno said softly.
"Like how?"
"Well, for a start, you could try asking any of your current friends basically anything about themselves. Ask them what they like. Find out what's going on in their lives, get out of your own head, ya know?" Juno said sassily.
Hyunjin and Jessica stepped out of the room to let them talk.
"I'm sorry." Hyunjin began. "He definitely gets his sass from his mother."
Jessica laughed and raised her brow as Jisung and Seungmin walked in, carrying a desk.
"I have trouble believing that about your wife." She snorted.
"Yeah. Me too." Hyunjin chuckled. "He definitely got the bossy, sassiness from me. But I'll tell him to cut it out if it's going to hurt Alex's feelings."
Jessica shrugged. "I don't know. It's probably better if she hears it from a peer. I basically tell her the same thing, and she's never listened before."
