December 2040
Eden and Juno were in the backyard at Chan's house, watching the other kids.
Juno was not too happy to be doing this, as he would have much preferred having gone to visit Felix and Kimiwan in Sudbury during his school vacation... But his parents "forced" him to come stay at Chan's for the weekend, and then go stay at his grandparents for the week, as they always did during winter break.
Juno sat on a deck chair, watching lifelessly.
"Oppa, can you push me on the swings?!" Poppy asked sweetly as she ran up to him.
"Ask Elliott." Juno grumbled.
"Elliott went inside." Poppy pouted.
"Ask Teddie." Juno said.
"Fine." She replied, going to find Teddie.
She ran over to where he was building a snowman.
"Oppa, can you push me on the swing?" She asked.
"Umm, just wait, I'm not finished yet." Teddie said, biting his tongue as he picked up the huge lump of packed snow, placing it on top of the other.
Poppy ran back to Juno. "Oppa, he's busy..."
"Then friggin' wait. I don't care! Quit being annoying." Juno snapped.
Poppy gasped sadly. She ran back to the house, crying.
.....
"Juno!" Hyunjin called, his voice sounding less than happy.
Juno walked back over to the house.
"Yes, Daddy?" He asked quietly as he came in the door.
"Did you cuss and call your sister annoying?" Hyunjin asked in his unhappy voice.
"I didn't cuss. I said friggin'..." Juno rolled his eyes.
Hyunjin hissed. "Don't say that in front of your little sister!" He scolded.
Juno sighed. "Sorry, Daddy."
"How many times have I told you not to be mean to your sister?!"
"A lot, I'm guessing?" Juno whispered.
"You made her cry!" Hyunjin spat.
