"Okay, here's our house!" Jeongin said excitedly as he unlocked the entrance to his apartment. He went in and turned the lights on.
It had been such a struggle to get Wolf from the airport to the apartment in the first place.
He didn't want to walk with Jeongin. He didn't want to hold his hand. He just stood in place and wouldn't budge.
So Jeongin had to pick him up and put him on the rolling suitcase, pulling him and two large suitcases through the airport.
He was so glad to finally be home.
He picked Wolf off of the suitcase and set him down.
Wolf looked around.
Jeongin closed and locked the entrance before turning back to Wolf.
"Everything here is yours, so look around. Okay?" Jeongin said.
Wolf didn't respond. He just glanced around curiously.
There was a little bed by the window. Jeongin had bought it and put it there before he went back to Canada.
It had a lion king themed blanket and pillow, and there was a wrapped basket of toys sitting on top of it.
Wolf almost looked a little bit excited when he saw it.
He looked nervously at Jeongin, wondering if he was really allowed to touch it.
"Go on. This is your house. Those are your toys. That's your bed." Jeongin said reassuringly.
Wolf slowly made his way over, afraid that somehow, once he touched the toys, they would disappear.
Everything always got taken away as soon as he began to like it. Even people got taken away from him if he started to like them.
"Let's open it together." Jeongin said, grabbing Wolf's hand and bringing him to the basket.
Wolf almost pulled his hand away but didn't. He followed Jeongin over to the toys and cautiously began opening them.
He quickly got very absorbed in playing with a train set. He was really into the big box of train tracks and Thomas the Tank Engine trains.
Jeongin showed him how to snap a few of the pieces together, and soon enough, Wolf was building a train track the length of the entire room.
Jeongin put the battery in the train and placed it on the track.
At first, Wolf was a bit scared. He watched as the train went by itself, all the way from one end of the room to the other. Then it hit the wall and stopped moving.
