JoJo walked in the door at 3:45.
Teddie and Poppy ran up to greet her.
She gave them both a hug and listened as they recounted their day.
"Well, that sounds better than yesterday." JoJo smiled. "Poppy, did you have a nap?"
Poppy nodded.
"Good girl." JoJo said.
Soon, the kids ran off to play again.
Juno walked over now, giving his mom a kiss.
"Mom, about the thing this weekend, Uncle said since it's far, we have to stay overnight. Can I?" Juno asked.
JoJo nodded. "Yeah. It should be okay. How much will it cost?"
"What?"
"The hotel or whatever you stay." JoJo said.
"Oh. I never asked." Juno hummed.
"Honey, you have to ask him. You have to pay your share. Your dad will give you some money." JoJo informed.
"Oh. Okay. I'll ask." He said, going off to his room.
JoJo quickly started gathering some laundry and taking Teddie and Poppy to the laundry room.
Then she went back upstairs, with the two kids trailing behind her like ducklings. "Okay. Now that that's done, I think we can go to the park." She smiled.
Both the kids cheered and ran to get their outside toys.
"Go get your sun hats on. And your sandals." JoJo instructed.
The kids eagerly listened.
"Juno, do you want to come out?" JoJo asked.
"No..." Juno called from his room.
He happily spent the next 2 and a half hours enjoying the silence in the living room and playing on his phone.
Then, JoJo came back with two sun-kissed and happy kids.
She quickly went to put the laundry in the dryer and then came back upstairs again and went to the bathroom.
Normally, she used the ensuite bathroom off their bedroom, but this time, she went into the bathroom that the kids use.
While she was in the bathroom, she noticed the toothpaste on the mirror and the grime around the sink. She sighed and started cleaning the whole bathroom.
