Teddie got home from school, put his backpack down, made his way to the living room, and thumped down on the couch. He let out a heavy sigh and looked around. There was nothing to do.

No video games, no phone, no going out.

He felt his cheek. It didn't hurt, but just the thought of what happened the other day made him sad.

He checked the time. His dad would be home in about two hours.

He pushed himself up and went to start cleaning the kitchen.

He made sure everything was spotless, hoping to get back on his parent's good side. It had been a rough couple of days.

By now, it would be about 45 minutes until his dad got home.

He started preparing the coffee so that it would be ready when he came back.

Then he heard Poppy from her bedroom.

"Oppa?" She called tiredly.

Teddie hadn't realized she was there. She always got home after him, so he figured she had just gone somewhere after school.

He went to her room and peeked in.

She lay there, curled up on her side, clutching her stomach.

Teddie hummed. "Cramps?"

She whimpered and nodded.

"Did you leave school early?" He asked.

She nodded with a pout. "Mom picked me up at lunchtime."

Teddie hummed again.

"Oppaaaa." She whined.

"What?" He asked, going to sit on the edge of her bed.

"There's no Advil. . ." She whined, her eyes tearing up.

"Anywhere?" He asked.

"Nooo!" She whimpered.

Teddie sighed. "I can't go out. I'm grounded." He said sympathetically.

"Pleeease!" She whined. "I need it." She pouted out her bottom lip dramatically, adding a few sniffles.

Teddie let out a heavy sigh.

"Fine. Give me your phone." He said. "I have to ask dad, cuz if I'm gone when he gets home, he'll freak out."

"Where's your phone?" Poppy asked.

"Dad took it."

"He took your phone too?! What did you guys do anyway?!"

Teddie looked at his little sister, her eyes desperate for more information. He shook his head. "I can't tell you."

"Pleeeaase."

"Just give me your phone." He said, taking it from her hand.

He called his dad and let him know that Poppy needed some things, and he was going to the store.

His dad was fine with it, only because it was for Poppy.

Teddie stood up to head out.

"Oh yeah, could you also get me a box of pads? And like... a snack, maybe?" Poppy asked, making puppy eyes.

Teddie sighed. "Yes." He said as he walked out.
