Hyunjin came into the room, just as Teddie deleted all the messages.
"Go put your phone away." Hyunjin reminded quietly.
Teddie quickly went and put the phone on his dad's nightstand. Then he kissed JoJo's cheek. "Goodnight, mom." Then he went back to his room and waited until his dad came back.
Hyunjin came and sat on the edge of Teddie's bed. "Okay, let's say a prayer."
Teddie closed his eyes quickly.
"Do you want to say it, or should I?" Hyunjin asked.
"You." Teddie said abruptly.
Hyunjin hummed in suspicion. "Okay."
Teddie listened mindlessly until his dad said; "please help us to make good decisions and to do things that will make you proud of us." His heart panged with guilt, knowing what he was planning to do.
"Amen."
"Amen."
Hyunjin kissed Teddie's cheek. "Is there something bothering you?" He asked.
Teddie shook his head. "No. I'm just tired."
"You know you can always talk to me, right? If you're unsure of something."
"I know." Teddie gulped. "I'm fine."
Hyunjin raised his brow. "Well, when you're ready, I want you to come to me. Because I love you."
Teddie nodded.
"I'm here for you. I'll build you up if you're going through something, so that you feel stronger. You know you can rely on me. You don't ever have to do anything alone." Hyunjin said, holding Teddie's hand.
"I know. I'm just really tired, dad."
Hyunjin gave a small nod as he stood up. "Okay." He said. He leaned over and kissed Teddie's forehead. "Goodnight then."
~That night~
It was just after 2:00 AM.
Teddie anxiously got out of bed and made his way toward his parents' room.
"Whatcha doin?" Came Hyunjin's voice from behind him.
Teddie startled and spun around. "Going to the bathroom!" He blurted out.
