Minam hopped into the bed next to wolf. He shivered. "I'm sooo cold!" He said, rubbing his hands together.

Wolf pulled the blanket up around him.

Minam mischievously put his ice-cold hand in Wolf's shirt.

Wolf jumped. "YAH! You brat!!!" He gasped.

Minam giggled.

Wolf grabbed Minam's hair and shook his head. "You need your brain rattled back into place!"

Minam's eyes rolled back as Wolf shook his head. "Woah." He said dizzily as Wolf let go.

Wolf snorted.

"Hyung! You ripped out my hair." Minam said.

"It's like 3 hairs." Wolf said.

Minam reached for Wolf's hair, but Wolf grabbed his hands and pinned them to his sides.

Minam huffed, easily giving up the fight.

"Let's just go to sleep." Wolf said.

"But you were gonna tell me the story about your mom!" Minam said, laying back down and making his typical doe eyes.

Wolf laid down beside him, slightly propped up with his pillows. He looked at Minam with a small smile. "I missed you."

Minam snuggled into Wolf and looked up at him with a closed-lip smile.

Wolf wrapped both his arms around him and squeezed him tightly.

"Hyung, I missed you too. So much that I actually cried yesterday." Minam said.

Wolf laughed. "Why would you cry?"

Minam pouted. "I thought maybe Appa wouldn't let me see you for a long time."

Wolf made a sad expression. "Well, everything's fine now."

Minam nodded. "So tell me the story."

Wolf cleared his throat. "Okay." He began.

"Is this it?" Wolf asked as his dad pulled up in front of a house.

"I.... I think so." Jeongin said, looking out the passenger side window. "It's been a long time, and I've never seen it in the winter."

Wolf looked further down the street... He suddenly got out of the car.

"Wolf!" Jeongin called, turning the car off and jumping out to run behind him.

Wolf sped down the sidewalk past a few houses. "No, dad. It's this one." He said, standing in front of a different house.

"Do you.... do you actually remember?" Jeongin asked curiously.

Wolf nodded. "I think so." He said quietly.

"You do?"

Wolf examined the porch carefully. He pointed sadly. "I used to wait there for mom. And when I got taken to foster care, I tried to remember this porch every day so that I could come back and wait for my mom."

Jeongin looked into Wolf's sad eyes as he told the story, his own eyes filling with tears.

Part of the reason Jeongin had put all of this off was that it was all just too sad to deal with.

"Don't cry, dad. It's not sad. I'm just saying that's why I remember." Wolf said.

Jeongin nodded, trying to be strong. "Okay."
